I think Odegaard is absolutely class, their joint best player with Saka for me. But I absolutely love players like him, Maddison, KDB, Eriksen in his prime for us etc etc, they make football a joy to watch.

I don't think he has that 'uber' vision like the others you mention...IMHO.

Very good with his timing and movement arriving into the box and finishing...Lampard-esque in that respect, and presses supper well.

But I'd rank all those ones above him.

He's great, but he's not been at his best since he got with his new girlfriend last winter. And, frankly, I can't blame him for not having enough energy for football.

I think he’s a very good player but I also think he’s a bit of a wuss.
Reminds me a bit of Eriksen in that respect - avoids tackling, disappears when it gets a bit rough etc.

It looks to me like Maddison quite likes those type of matches though and almost rises to the occasion, which for me, makes him the better player.
This myth about Eriksen was dispelled while he was still here. People see what they want to see, but he was our hardest working player and our best presser.

I think we Norwegians also have a slightly different perception of him given we also see him captain a failing national side where he's usually both massively overhyped by the pundits who follow the team and massively underwhelming.

For Arsenal, as much as it pains to say, he's mostly been class. Us shutting him completely out of the derby was brilliantly done by our midfield.

And yes, I'd be an unfocused wreck too if I'd bagged Helene Spilling.

Piers Morgan was a guest on Talksport this morning bigging up arsenal as title contenders, but apparently they don't need to worry about Spurs because we're bottle jobs.......and at no point did anyone bring up last seasons monumental bottling from them.

*sorry - had a couple after work, so hopefully makes more sense now! :D
Or the season before when they spectacularly bottled 4th place

He’s excellent if given a lot of space like he was in their system last season. But teams have worked that out and this year as soon as he gets the ball he has a man on him. I’ve noticed it in the games against us and Man City. He’s half the player with no space

I see this thread has done its usual international break bullshit, as it's now, less what other fans are saying about us and more our fans talking about Arsenal and ex-Chelsea players

Agreed, he hasnt got truly elite vision, but he is a very good passer, dribbler in tight spaces, presser and like you said arrives in the box very well. I think he gets teams playing much better football. KDB is in a class of his own though.

I see some table before the Liverpool game that stated who had the easiest start.

It classed us as having the “easier” start but arsenal coming a close 2nd. So fuck knows why they believe they’ve had a tough start and should be top. Been fairly even with us having both played Utd and us playing Liverpool and them City.

They seem to forget how easy there start was last season, and how they get to play home games after every CL fixture this season.

Bunch of spotty, sexually frustrated virgins, that can’t understand that despite having there best team in years, they are still behind a Spurs team that was in chaos last season.
