We’ll beat Liverpool at Anfield later this season, it’s nailed on. Btw, Luton isn’t shit, it’s not a massively dissimilar area to Tottenham. A lot of good people in that town. ( council swap from Stamford Hill when I was 6 in 1975) .
Big test for us
But Tottenham is a shit area :cautious:

Just got sent a link by a Liverpool fan I know and it turns out the premier league independent panel have ruled that Jota’s second yellow shouldn’t have been given. They voted 3-2 against the yellow. What the actual fuck?! (This is true btw, just been released - they also ruled that Aston Villa’s 2nd and 3rd goals should’ve been ruled out…. Brighton should probably ask for a replay).

Anyway, he carried on saying that there will probably be more stuff each week coming out about other decisions the officials got wrong in this game for the next 3 years. He finished it with ‘could Spurs be any luckier ffs’

I sent him the Virgil tweet.

Why the f**k are independent panels "adjudicating" on this stuff? Doesn't it just throw fuel on any fire of injustice and undermine refs?

Wonder if they think this should have been a yellow?

This independent panel holds about as much weight as a bloke with a high following on Twitter.

If you ignore it, it doesn’t really exist.

I assume they're there to help guide the referees, but seem to have just totally ignored the context that Jota had already been warned about intentional persistent fouling and didn't even stop when on a yellow.

This panel voted 3-2 against a second yellow , well we know that players
and coaches are quite happy with professional fouls to stop attacks , reckon we can guess who the three were.

The panel has five members, made up of three former players and/coaches, plus one representative each from the Premier League and PGMOL.
The other problem here is that the panel is already biased as they knew the outcome and furore about the decisions

To make a fair judgement they would have had to be completely unaware of all the events and the result

This is the problem and also being fuelled by the media, they're re-reffing certain incidents only and saying "that wasn't a yellow!!", why not re-ref every challenge he made in the game, probably would've been sent off sooner...

Asked about Jota's response to being red carded on the weekend, Klopp said: "How should he deal with it? I knew it would be difficult. That [game] is long ago and we are over that and Diogo is over it as well. We are not children."

Ok everyone, Liverpool are over it now, they're not children and they won't mention it ever again. They've finally accepted reality and come back down to earth. Once again Liverpool demonstrate to the rest of us what being humble and showing class in defeat looks like! Thank you Liverpool.

Yep, bet it's never mentioned again by anyone with an allegiance to Liverpool FC. Klopp won't once mention it for the rest of the season especially if they lose the league by a point or he's questioned on some sort of dodgy decision.

Again highlights the absolute crap and lazy questions journalists ask managers.

How does Jota feel lol…

When I walk from pymmes park to the stadium I have never pictured myself living there. It's grim
I grew up in Palmers Green, mate’s Dad worked at Metal Box. Just moved back. I just walked down there the other day and along the “river” to see if it had changed. Fuck me it’s rough now. There was a community garden that was completely overgrown and disused, and.a ton of shady characters loafing about.

If you lot wanna reminisce, burger off to your own thread and keep this on topic before the Sidcup Posse arrive and plant their deckchairs for the rest of October!

If you head out toward Enfield it's really nice, I could see myself living there though 👍

Phew, that’s a relief! I’m glad all the little RAWKS are back in mummies basement shampooing their rabbits 🐰 and letting the grown ups get on with it. Happy bunnies one and all 👍
