Actually stories leaking out that the FA are going to actually organise a replay of the game 🤷🏻‍♂️
Has to be people trolling, there's no way anything can be taken seriously if they go ahead and bend over just because they're Liverpool.

Could improve our goal difference though.... :cautious:

Arsenal fans seem as angry as Liverpool fans on social media. To the point they're calling up Talksport demanding the game should be replayed and if we were classy like them in 1999 against Shef Utd we'd agree to that!?!

Stupid fucknuggets, the lot of them. Gooners are getting twitchy because we're not as bad as we were last year and sit with them at the top end of the table.
It's ok, as they said after we played them, we got lucky and that Liverpool would rip us apart. That's what happened right?

Stephen Taylor Heath, co-head of Sports Law at JMW Solicitors, told Mirror Football: “Rule L18 outlines that the Premier League board has the power to order a league match to be replayed provided that recommendation to that effect has been made by a commission under rule W51.

“In addition to this, under rule W1, the Premier League’s board has the power to inquire about any suspected breach of rules, including those made by a match official, while rule N4 ensures that each match official agrees to be bound by the laws of the game as well as any protocols and FA rules."

Seems like a thin argument, does an error constitute a breach of rules?

If they go this route, then every error will be scrutinized.

Liverpool should start with 10 men as Jones' red wasn't overturned...

Big surprise on the allegiances of the lawyer quoted in that article...

(I feel a bit tin-hat/Scouse even digging that up by all I did was google his name+Liverpool out of curiosity )

I think you'd put it in the 'racing incident' category.

Ironically, if the officials had stopped the game after its restart from the off-side decision and awarded the goal, I think it would have been us who had a clearer case for a replay as that would have been a breach of a restart rule, rather than an incorrect interpretation of one.

Once you open the lid off Pandora's Box the game will change forever. Levy will be at the front of the queue
along with many other clubs.

not a chance it gets replayed without opening up a can of worms that would see teams asking for literally hundreds of games to be treated the same. just from our perspective we can probably name at least 5 games, even assuming it's just from when VAR was introduced.
