A few more gems full of wisdom and insight from the cretins at Kumb:

I think people are over egging Tottenham's squad. We don't know how effective Bale will be after injuries and his holidays in Madrid, Kane isn't in the goalscoring form he has been in previous seasons and if Mourinho doesn't build around him he is neutered.

They're a far better team player for player than we are, but title contenders? Not a chance.

There is no fan base like them. No one comes close.

Son is a fantastic player who would start for every team in the league. But he is also a disgusting and aggressive cheat.

This was hilarious and terrible at the same time. And then his super high friend shows up- so good almost parody. Also, he needs to get a life.
Honestly I wouldn't be at all surprised if he'd recorded it after the game just so he could get all his hot takes right. Also, before his stoned friend turned up I had the impression that if he swore too loudly his mum would come in and tell him off.

Chelsea fan says we have delusions of grandeur..........the lack of self awareness here has reached galactic proportions.

You're a chelsea fan.....a little little small club that were in West Ham's shadow before 2003. Without Roman's billions they may well have gone into administration because Captain Birdseye mismanaged them so badly, and even if they didn't they would at best be a top 10 club and they may not necessarily even be in the premier league.

If some Russian stuck £1.7 billion into Bradford City, they too would have "won" a few trophies.

Someone needs to tell him, you're a Chelsea fan.......know your place.

They won quite a few trophies in tge decade before Abramovich

Yes.......by massively spending beyond their means. Their relative success in the years immediately preceding Abramovich had nothing to do with them being a big or well run club. It was actually the consequence of a level of extreme mismanagement to rival Leeds at that time. By all rights, Chelsea should have "done a Leeds" too. That they didn't - with Abramovich swooping in from nowhere hours before they were due to go into administration - was purely a matter of outrageous, wholly unearned good fortune.

Why the fuck am I reading about Chelsea, who fucking cares.
Because someone randomly brought them into the thread and out of context claimed how until Abramovich came in they were in West Ham’s shadow, with aside from being irrelevant to the thread was also massively erroneous. Also, West Ham boards aren’t talking about us or this game until Friday for some reason.

The "our cup final" thing is funny. I couldn't care less about playing West Ham, today is all about seeing Gareth Bale back for me.

It just makes no sense.
Arsenal, Chelsea, and West Ham all hate us the most out of all other clubs...so why the fuck would our 'cup final' be the fixture against them.

When it comes to importance I'd put games against any of the normal top 6 far above any match against these eel slurping tramps.

They're a Ramora fish of a club, trying to swim along in the wake of the London big 3 but whether they win or lose they're still meaningless.

Select comments from KUMB that display quite how serious the inbreeding problem is out in Newham:

Mate, we’re talking about serial title winners, Spurs. They won the league as recently as just 60 years ago.
A opposed to those 4 trophies they’ve won in their entire history...

Proud that we will forever be the answer to a quiz question: Who was the first team to beat both Arsenal and Tottenham in their new stadiums?
Even at our very lowest, were we quite this small time?

Their match thread is amazing. Most people predicting a five or six goal victory. Couldn’t see a single person saying it would be a tough game.

Also hilarious: they care so little about West Ham that they have an 800 page thread dedicated to us.

Amazing.

Are most people predicting that? Or can this person not count?

Also I think we do care about them.. but more in that ‘we should have a contract tracking app to let us know when we’ve been near one’ way.

I'm going 2-1 to us, and bragging rights for a few months safely in the bag.
This is their ambition and yet they mock us for dreaming of trophies... but no, this isn’t their cup final right?

And yet, if they were ever to come under good management, they very much have the potential to be a threat in the future.
That is a huge IF, GSB overvalue the asset so much that they won't be shifting it any time soon, then lets throw in the myth that West Ham could simply buy the Olympic Stadium and start to generate proper matchday revenue. Well, from a development standpoint it's super prime London real estate, the club simply can't afford it and unless your a senior member of the three commas club you can't afford it either.

I wouldn't say "super-prime". It's basically a massive failed business park with a soon-to-be-derelict shopping mall. The future doesn't look good for the Olympic Park.

Some pleasant half-time reading.

SPURS HAVE STOLEN MY CHILDHOOD..

All of a sudden my afternoon has been freed up...

This is starting to feel like my annual prostate examination.

And now this site is crashing again.

Even our forums are two Bob.

It'll be alright, we've got Craig Dawson in to shore up this defence.

We’re not losing a game, we’re being humiliated

3 excellent goals. The 3rd particularly, a superb cross and great positioning by Kane. That's what happens in football. We haven't played that bad, but the goals from Spurs have been quality. And I hate Spurs!

you fighting cock w*nkers are reading this...

Yeah.. you were right..
