Big opening game. Big game players needed and to perform. Can make a real statement here. Yesterday got the juices flowing for the season, despite the result. Sunday afternoon and the first game of the season. Can't come quick enough.

A disjointed and disillusioned Spurs 0 (who gives a new manager a 2 year deal?!) City 3

I really don't fancy us in this one. We looked very unfit and disorganised yesterday. Too many absentees, too many not yet at the races. It's a tough start against a club with a new boss and out to prove they can live without Kane this season.

I'd be very happy to come away with a 0-0 draw.

Will probably drop points here.

Actually, that would be a really funny SNL skit; Nuno as a super enthusiastic, legendary, well spoken Kebab shop owner, who takes a fairly ropey weekend 'meal', and turns it into something that's more than the sum of its parts.

Can't for the life of me understand the City fans moaning about free kicks and fouls, thought the ref was very generous to them on a number of occasions. Grealish and Sterling threw themselves on the deck at the slightest hint of contact. It was pathetic.
