With the whole world to choose from with every colour race and creed available our damn DOF has failed to sign a single exotic one of them this window; with all his contacts in France you’d think he could have found at least one player who couldn’t speak English or has no comprehension of what a winter night game in the North East can do to your nuts.

Instead of that our DOF goes out and buys three, count them, three British Internationals a Welshman an Englishman and a Scotsman, how can that be right? Whatever possessed him? After all, every one of us is aware that he can’t communicate with English speaking players added to the accepted wisdom that our new manager knows bugger all about footballers in this country, I know I've read it everywhere.

Unless of course the entire media machine in this country has been wrong and talking out of their, not inconsiderably haemorrhoidal arses. Could this be so?

Maybe, just maybe this has been a remarkably good transfer window.

Ok guys I was being a bit sarcastic but just for fun.
I just think that Damien Comolli has taken some undue stick for his French connections but more importantly I certainly didn't expect three signings this window all of whom are home country Internationals, as far as I'm aware we haven't bought a Brazilian international yet but then even that's a departure for us.

Any one think we'd have these three on Jan 1st? it seems like good business to me.

If you like, but at least we didn't waste any money on Fred.

And I repeat, Maybe, just maybe this has been a remarkably good transfer window.

I understand that Woodgate speaks Spanish.

Not sure that Hutton qualifies as an English-speaking player.

Never a truer word said in jest. Two top class Brits who will fit in quickly and a young Brit to add to the Bales ,Kabouls Boetangs and Tarrabts who all have potential of various degrees. With Gilberto to come maybe it will indeed be a good window.

What a load of crap, i for one like our buying policy and i think its good for the club as a whole, and i agree that if top class international players are available then we should try to buy them if they make our squad better. i just hope you were high on crack at the time because this is one of worst threads i have seen here in my short time.

Total Rubbish
