Conte will definitely be aiming as high as we can get, whatever that might be.

I actually feel bad for Chelsea after the weekend, which is not something I say flippantly - it's unacceptable that they were made to play when they couldn't even fill a bench IMO - but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be seeking to capitalise.
They could have filled the bench with academy players like everyone else has been. They chose not to in order to be petty. That was a targeted selection at the league. And the way Tuchel acted pre game, it was like he had already conceded a win & was throwing the towel in his petulance. Should they have played? No but they also should have acted like adults instead of petulant children. Dont see Bielsea & Leeds acting up & they are in far worse shape numbers wise than anyone.

Spurs Under Conte in PL :

Played - 6
Won - 4
Drawn - 2
Lost - 0
Points - 14
Points per game - 2.33
Cleansheets - 4

Conte is a magician - All 3 previous liabilities Dier Sanchez Davies looks like they are born to play for back3. Skipp is improving massively. There is end product nowadays from Lucas Moura....Sessegnon talent is coming out, Winks & Dele looking like old days....

For all this , Romero is out injured - Kane & Son haven't hit even 3rd gear.

If we keep putting up above kind of numbers, we are finishing comfortably in top4 and probably give Chelsea a run for their money for 3rd.

Wouldn’t count out United or Arsenal yet. United have the best squad of the three teams but are a bit of an unknown quantity for now under Rangnick, whilst Arsenal do look seriously impressive atm.

Could do with Arsenal in particular dropping points to a well rested Wolves team on Tuesday.

Agree. It's a rat race for fourth between us three and hopefully, fingers crossed, Chelsea can get dragged into that battle as well so it's four teams for two spots.

We definitely won't finish lower than 6th.

Arsenal for me are still flat track bullies - United have lot of upside, but it is still to be seen if Rangnick can actually do the job....

As for us, Conte has improved already in most aspects of game. We have an identify now. 4 cleansheets in 6 PL games with 4 wins is no easy feat. And to think we had more chances against Liverpool and should have won that game.

As things stand, I give more chance for us to be in top4 and also catch Chelsea for 3rd than other 2 teams

I really think we'll get 4th spot not. We look more like a team than the others. Man U still a shit show. And Arsenal dont look great against anyone half decent.

Arsenal are flat track bullies, but right now they don't draw games, they beat all the teams that they're supposed to and their home record is fantastic.

It would be stupid to discount them because they can lose home and away in all the rest of their games against the big six and still hit comfortably over 70 points as long as they keep doing the job against the bottom half sides.

I think it’s going to be very close. Think us and Arsenal have an advantage on United with them still being in Europe. Especially with all the postpones games to fit in.

Think Arsenal will beat most weaker teams, they are very creative and have lots of pace, shit teams can't deal against that. Also Ramsdale is doing a good job there. Very important that we get 3 points vs them. United with Conte would make top 4 easily, they will be right up there with us.

Agreed but arsenal are getting very lucky currently with teams being very weak against them with players out.

see how they get on against a well rested wolves then city. Could easily drop 4 points then Liverpool in the cup to further dampen their confidence. Huge game against them at home.

Arsenal wolves now off. They finally have a game postponed. Annoying it’s just before city.

I dont think anyone is discounting Arsenal -but its also a fact that, Arsenal's recent wins comes against 16th , 17th & 20th placed teams.

Arsenal have already played Norwich twice.

Their win since Nov21 is against Watford, Southampton, Leeds, Norwich. They won against us a terrible Nuno team and got lucky against Westham who went down to 10.

Jan22 games for Arsenal - ManCity, Liverpool (cup semi1) ,, Liverpool (cup semi2) - lets see if they come out of it unscathed mentally. Then they meet us at lane on 16th

Couldn’t agree more. West Ham with their whole back line out, Leeds with multiple injuries and Covid. Norwich with Covid and injuries, and Southampton who were awful most of the season.
huge test against city to see how actually good they are.

Honestly didn’t expect Arsenal to get as good as they seem now for a long while and especially under Arteta. They actually play some really slick football annoyingly. If they actually sort out their transfers then they could be pushing hard for top four.

Looking at their squad I think they're only a top striker and maybe an improvement at CM away from being a really complete side.

I doubt they'll get any of them in Jan but they've been pretty strongly linked with Vlahovic, Isak, Toney, Lautaro etc. If they could get anyone like that then that front 4 begins to look really really good, and all under 23 too.

Yup. They have a lot of young talent Starting, on the bench and coming through.
I guess it depends on how much money they have as their wage bill is still pretty big I think. But they’re building something special!
Depends if they can attract top players under arteta, or find more young talent.
Only striker I could see them getting is Toney out of that lot and I’m not convinced by him.

Cautiously optimistic for top 4 & a trophy. Conte has us playing really well & I think there is more to come from this group of players under him. Carabao is within reach now & Chelsea can be gotten at. I’d fancy him to get us over the top in a final

We need to back him these next few windows. If anyone can get us the league ever, it is him. Please Mr. Levy. Please. I am begging. Back. This. Man.

United look absolutely awful tonight. Can’t see them being a threat to 4th. I think it’s between us and arsenal
