Agreed. Honduras is also known for holding their home games in the afternoon in 100 degree weather. Its absurd. Concacaf needs to step in already with federations shithousing like this to the detriment of player safety. They also should disqualify Costa Rica right now & ban them for the next 2 cycles after they just knowingly fielded Covid + players yesterday. Concacaf simply does not give a shit about player safety or a players well being. El Salvador players threatened to not play yesterday because of unpaid bonuses. Its crazy. Concacaf does not care about the players.

I am pretty sure none of the players on either side were used to those weather conditions. It provided no advantage, and risked players health and safety.

It's not as clear cut as the post made it sound. Other reports are saying that the two players had covid about 3 weeks ago and had cleared all of the processes to play and that they still tested positive due to antibodies when entering Jamaica.
