Im surprised Leverkusen isnt filling their quota. I mean, they have fans. I expected it from Monaco as they cant even half fill their own stadium but not from Leverkusen.

Also, shouldnt tv requirement seating be determined before hand? Segregation lines is understandable in case the away club returns some kf their allocation. But Wembley seats 90k, how many seats does UEFA standards take away that we only had an original allocation more than 10k less the capactiy?

Leverkusen have a nice little core of fans. They ain't too bad but they are not many. They have problems to fill a 30 000 seater last year against Barcelona and of course against us too.
They play in a region with lots of people and lots of football clubs. Located directly next to them are Cologne and Monchengladbach (and Düsseldorf). Two clubs with an awesome fanbase. Then Dortmund and Schalke are not too far away and they have several other clubs with big tradition next to them: Essen, Aachen, Bochum... .
Bayer 04 Leverkusen is a club without that tradition. "Bayer" is a business group supporting them, like VW in Wolfsburg, SAP in Hoffenheim or Red Bull in Leipzig. Bayer Leverkusen is way more accepted than the others though.

Can't make it to this game, loved the Monaco experience despite the result. Would love to see us set another new record! I have to admit I didn't think we'd get above 80k again, but that win against CSKA definitely helped.

Very much doubt it, the league 2 playoff finals tend to have very low attendances.
There was one a few years back with about 14k I think.

About 500 tickets just released right behind the goal in the east stand - you can see where Leverkusen haven't taken their allocation.

Between 86 and 87k is probably around the de facto capacity of Wembley for a Uefa game because of advertising boards restricting the views of some seats and segregation.

if i remember correctly, only 87k is allowed for evening games for 'security reasons' or something like that. thats what i read somewhere before the monaco game anyway

not sure but it's either a percentage of the full capacity or around 5k seats that can't be sold for safety reasons...

the away allocation is 5% of the stadium capacity which means over 4k tickets for Leverkusen...if the amount of tickets that Spurs released yesterday and today is anything to go by then expect a strong 2500 away fans which IMO is pretty decent.

I don't get that at all. Its like they dont like the 1st 3 rows behind the goals used. Surely if tyhe stadium is safe it is safe with those seats otherwise they should never be there

The tickets i got are in block 502 i believe. Its one block from the halfway line in the 3rd tear but only 8 seats back. The view facility on the website looks brilliant from their imo! Get a good view to bith ends and percertion isnt too sqewed.
