The biggest danger is not that the players will leave because of the wage glass ceiling, but Poch may go as well. That would be disastrous.

Yeah roll on the season, because the philosophy is not working without any signings! We were demolished by Man City in Nashville tonight. Their new players are fearsome...

So you're saying that the way we're doing things isn't working because we lost a game. Ignoring the fact that we have consistently been playing the best football for two years with this philosophy. We lost a game that even Poch said it was not about winning, it has always been about fitness. City, it was like a cup final for them, and went at it like a prem game.

What I'm saying is that, though the philosophy has worked for two years, things do not remain static and the others have strengthened. I really don't think we can depend on the academy for everything. Having said this, I sort of expected this with the new stadium going up and all...
