Victor Wanyama has ruled out leaving Tottenham despite making just eight Premier League starts this season.

It's ruled out him leaving us... just not us letting him go."I still have a contract with Spurs and that is what I want to see through."
I don't interpret that as ruling out leaving us, besides which it's ultimately Poch's decision as to whether or not he wants to keep him.
That goal against Liverpool alone merits a contract extention and a substantial pay riseBrilliant player, only 26, cannot be allowed leave.
I agree. Obviusly he has struggled this year, but now he can work on his fitness this summer. The player from the prior two seasons is still in there.Stupidity to even think of selling him, and one i am sure that Poch isn't even considering.
It's certainly obvious that players that are out injured for a few months (with serious injuries) really struggle to ever make that lost ground up under Poch's training methods, it appears to happen all the time.
Rose, Wanyama, Lamela, Alderweireld to name just a few.
I think so much work goes into the fitness aspect of things that it is so difficult to reach the level of the other players when you have been out injured for such a long time, certainly seems that way anyway.
With Kenya not in the World Cup and a full pre-season behind him, let's hope Vic can reach the levels he reached two seasons ago.
Sorry couldn’t find his player watch. I understand you have to give him a bit of leeway with the injuries. But do people really think he is good enough for a CL team or would you move him on ?

Would you have asked this in his first season when he was injury free and fit?
That will be your answer
barring some misplaced passes in the first i think he did really well, better than Dier has done all season. You lose a little of the calm on the ball you get with Dier but driving forward from deep positions is something you really need to charge forward and you dont get that at all with Dier
