For sure, but I think the most I ever screamed for joy at a single goal was against Scotland in 1996. I was in the Standard at Blackhorse Road in Walthamstow, knew the landlord and he had a dozen of the regulars in to watch and we went mental. Out the doors into the traffic dancing and jumping about, such a great memory.

If I had to show someone one clip to describe him, how talented but how much of a showman he was as a player, it's that. Just the memory of seeing that makes me grin, can't imagine the rush he had wheeling away as it hit the net.
He was in amazing form that tournament. Curse Hoddle for not taking him to France in 98.

For me, his best performance for England was probably the opposite of what you’d expect. Against a good Italy team in a play off qualifier where we only needed a draw to go through. He did nothing flash but controlled the entire game from midfield. They couldn’t get near him. He always had that ability to play a mature, controlled game, just didn’t show it very often.

I'll probably get pelters for this but, as wonderful a player as Gazza was, I can't stand him.

He's done a lot of very questionable things. I know he had a troubled childhood but he has to be responsible for himself at some point. Even listening to him in interviews and stuff, he's painful to listen to IMO.

That’s what I thought but I just can’t see it in the video.
And on this subject, I saw a video on the Spurs website showing one of our female players scoring a really weird penalty in training, where she kicked it with what should have been her standing foot. It blew my mind and I’d love to share it, but can’t find it anywhere now.
