Walker has been much improved so far this season. Trippier hasn't impressed much when he's featured so far this season. Walker deserves to be first choice on merit, but I hope Trippier starts to give Poch something to think about.

Wouldn't surprise me if this was purely down to the fact that he chucks a load of crosses into the box, which for a team like Burnley who were a battling team who played two up top and got men up in support meant that a fair few were successful and created chances. If we are going on stats, didn't he also give the ball away the most of any player in the PL last season? Probably again partly due to the fact that he chucks a load of crosses in.

Can only go on what we have seen so far, I think he is a bit rash both with and without the ball and hasn't taken the opportunities to say he should displace Walker (who I am hardly the biggest fan of).

This is correct.

The thing that worries me is that he so far, he makes walker look like the defensively strong RBo_O

Agree with beats1. I was surprised to see how weak he was defensively. Surprised and disappointed. He saw the low bar set by Walker as an opportunity to do the limbo.

Walker has benefitted from having a preseason (as opposed to last year), and is generally playing well defensively. Trippier haven't done anything in his games that would make me want to change right back.
