Last year when Fabio Capello took over Real Madrid, he said he couldn't believe the poor shape of the squad. And his regiment won them a lot of games.
I'm sure Ramos is going to be doing everything to get these guys in better shape as for us, that would have already been worth 11 points this campaign.
Nah it's his way of things, they will have to get used to it or leave won't they, why should they get afternoons off anyway, there paid enough to be there from 9 til 5.
I'm guessing this is just the start of things to come, we will see a difference on the pitch after a few weeks of this i'm sure.
Anyone else think we might hammer Blackpool now, say 5 - 1.
To be honest I would prefer a 1-0 or 2-0 win. We just need a clean sheet under our belts.
Actually, it was RvN's goals (and Beckham's assists) that won the games. Real were frequently utter shite, ultra-defensive and boring. Capello was also shit-stirring big-time behind the scenes. No wonder he got the chop. Real fans hated him, and he was none too popular at Juve.
Fortunately, Ramos' tactical notions are diametrically opposed to Capello's.
I'm a bit worried, it appears we have Clive Allen in goal.:duh:
Have a look back (if you can be arsed! :wink and see how many games Madrid won with late goals.
Capello got them player for 95 minutes every game. They scored lots of late winners towards the end of the season and during the last game of the season came on strong to come from 1 down to win 3-1. Capello was hated by the players, but it was his regime (and of course Becks and Horse Face) that won them the title.
not sure i buy this idea that more training = more injuries. Plenty of evidence to suggest that the right type of training minmises injuries.
ermmm no the reason i believe we keep picking up injuries is lack of fitness
believe me if ramos is this fanatical about his training we will deffo see a different spurs team in 2-3 weeks
