New signings very good. Dembele and Walker excellent, was impressed with Fryers too. Rose was poor, can't really judge by one half but i'm not sure he's quite up to it defensively, looks like we could need Coentrao.

Rose did well going fwd but can't defend, as we knew.

Apart from defending set pieces, we look very strong.

It amazes me how good Soldado and Chadli look, it seems like they have been around the team forever

Yes we look extremely solid (apart from in defence!)

But we're missing a bit of magic in the final third

We've been spoilt with Bale, Modric, VDV and Berbatov in the last 10 years.

Just needs a superstar to make us pull teams apart.

Generally ok. Going forward, some good stuff, much quicker, but sometimes need to have more time on the ball.

Defensively. Same old story. Urgh. Fryers did ok as well, Rose having a mare defensively, biggest probelm i think is that there too much of a gap between Dembele, Paulhinho and the defenders. But its pre-season and should come naturally.

Great to see kaboul and sandro back on the bench.

Chadli, really impressed, much bigger than i expected.

People still reading far too much into a preseason game. Rose looked good for Sunderland last season, if you're going to make mistakes, preseason is the time to do it.

I see potential but to be honest I foresee many angry posts about him throughout the season if he remains first choice. Walker is twice the player and gets a lot of shit

Overall we've been decent, not too many complaints apart from the obvious set piece deficiencies that we all know about.

Teams will always fancy they can get something from us if we don't sort that.

Anyway much better than the Monaco game. Really need Sandro or capoue in the middle as neither Dembele, sig, or Paul are really experts at putting a tackle in and shielding the back 4.

Listening to Itv pundits is like having acid poured into your ears, So so bad, much like our set piece defending. Aside from that fuck up, considering it's like half a new team playing we've doing ok, gonna take time to gel.
