I think Torres should just join us now, imagine the amount of goals he would score with VDV, Bale, Lennon and Modric feeding him! Come on Torres, you know it makes sense.

I have always rated him high as a very clever and out of the box player. But against us he was poor. He needs to leave Liverpool and go someplace else, that club does him no good.

He will do well for us, but realistically it's highly unlikely he'll come here, particularly when the top Spanish and Italian team will want him, combined with Man City and there silly transfer policy that will blow us away.

If he wanted to enjoy his football, then Spurs is a pretty good choice.

We look a top side at the moment and we are not done yet.

Phew!! Another uniquely 'Spurs' performance, on the edge of yer seat, pulling yer hair out and burying yer head in yer hands stuff........yes we probably were quite poor at times today, but look at the stats - 13 on target, 7 off, there are plenty of other teams that would love to be that creative against a side like Liverpool. Now, if 'Arry's tweaking means a top quality striker, then my friends, I think we are going be one of the most exciting teams to have ever graced English football.

Lennon was non existent until the last 5 minutes. But shades of the Lennon of old when he actually got the ball. It would help if Hutton passed to him once in a while and stopped running into his areas.

But those are the same areas an attacking fullback wil go into . They need to work together better.

And there were a few times today it went from Hutton to Lennon and Back to Hutton. lennon then span his defender and ran off down the line and hutton tried to chip ofter the top for lennon to run onto.

Feck me I can't cope with this anymore. Spurs ar driving me nuts in a god way. At one Pontiac in the game after the jd penalty miss I punched a hole in my lounge wall (new build home = shit Walls) then at full I am going nuts cos we win the game!

By the way respect to hodgson in his interview. Was very honest and humble unlike a certain asshole whinger would be after defeat

Lennon's wheel-away celebrations are sweet

It'll take a dozen of games to get their act together. In fact I think they can be even more menacing on the right as Lennon is more exp than Bale and more likely to pass the ball to Hutton than Bale to Ekotto. We are going to end up with having 2 attacking players on each wing. There is no team in the world that can cope with that?

What I find interesting is that at the end of the game when we went for the long ball tactics, it was Ekotto who was their main provider.

really pissed off...oh we've scored!

I love that quote :)

It's a little strange how many fans on here seem pretty angry when in the last week we've beaten arse & pool and qualified for the last 16 of the CL.

Full credit for the Spurs fan who tried to support Wilson when his confidence was low - you are genuine supporters.

Poor perfermence today but shows sign of good team that we still managed to get the win. Modric was man of the match surberb agains and I thought Lennon looked really dangerous every time he got the ball. Bad news about VDV and Kaboul though hope neither injuries are too serious.
