Couldn't watch due to being away at a hotel and the Internet was shit for even the worse quality stream...

Just like to know this, if anyone could help to answer my questions; were we superior over Leicester before that goal? Saw some comments we were bossing them with good efforts and schemeicle was the one stopping goals for them while some were saying Leicester were balanced and athletic.. Were they capable of scoring from open play at all? Was it one of those days for us?

I personally thought Leicester were good value for the win. They always looked a threat on the counter attack. Their keeper only had to make one very good save really. Probably the least enjoyable game from us this season. I'd rather eat my own toenails than watch it again. Just horribly frustrating and full of moments when we're on the edge of their box looking absolutely clueless about what to do.

Apart from the away fixture at Swansea, Eriksen has been a let down this season. In fact, he has been poor for the majority of 2015. We need more from him that the odd free kick wonder. Would like to see Chadli or Son play instead of Eriksen against Sunderland.

Hopefully Mason gets back into the team soon enough. I think he is better suited to teams that sit back deep against us as he plays with a fair bit of urgency and creates chances due to his hard work and guile.

I don't think he has scored since October? I struggle to see what he adds to this team of late, and especially when the going gets tough. Like you say with Chadli and Son could do no worse and deserve a run in the side.

Been saying it all season, Leicester are simply a more balanced and more athletic side than we are, and those are the sides we struggle against. Fitting that they should beat us in a crucial match for top four places.

This AM3 with three creative players behind Kane and no pace or incisive dribbling ability absolutely must stop. It will never establish consistency enough to succeed in any top league, and especially not the EPL. Poch must go back to the drawing board, or these results will continue against these more balanced sides. It is ridiculous that this is still a problem three years after selling Bale.

With no pilot bit in the side, you will never be able to place the screws into the opposition. How Poch still cannot see this, especially after the clear mandate to bring in additional pace and dribbling ability in the summer, is beyond me.

I think Son and Njie were brought in for that reason they are still finding their way in their PL at the moment.
We also have Dembele making a return from injury as well.

Titlewise other results have gone our way so it's still just 7 points, I can't believe that we ended up with zilch after our domination, but I agree with many that we lacked a creative spark in front of their goal.
What I did see was them being much tougher in defense. Most of our throughballs were cut off, and most of theirs went through. It was very frustrating to watch.
In the end, it became apparent quite quickly that this was a game where one goal would settle it and after Schmeichel saved from Kane I had dark thoughts. After Lamela missed, I was pretty sure we wouldn't be the ones to get it.

Right. Again, the point being made was that those two were evidence of that direction, and I understand N'jie is hurt, but I can't understand why Son is being kept on the sidelines given the unbalance of the AM3. Eriksen - Alli - Lamela is offering zero consistency or bite whatsoever, and very little forays on the ground into the box, so I cannot comprehend why Poch is persisting with it.

typical spurs latley, no plan b and get punished once again, if we dont win games like newcastle we get sucker punched and lose at the death.

tell me now poch we can still cope without a striker ...

We probably wont get anyone if poch and levy tell us we dont need to buy as we have options blah blah, then that will be it but expect results like last night.

To be honest i never thought we were dominant over them yes we had a lot of the ball but never looked like scoring imo.

We got punished on a set piece just like sundays game which has been a problem for us this season but upto the last two games we were getting away wit it.
They fully deserved to win again which they should have done in the cup as they so clearly have our number now and i fully expect us to lose again in the replay.

I still think we are ahead of where we should be and next season is when we will be winning these type of games and turning the draws into wins. Its a work in progress.

I would say (and the stats agree) that we dominated everything. They were not at all scary from open play. Having said that, I don't think we looked much like scoring - we just looked a bit limp up front (like Pele).

I can't remember when I was as said as yesterday. And I'm not worried because we lost, I'm not worried because we are on -7 to Leicester, I'm also not worried about our table position.

I just don't want that the team would fall apart after that match. I'm scared that the progress would stop. At the moment I'm very very happy with the team, their character and performances and I just want to keep this dream going on. This is my only fear.

Need someone to calm me.

We have no alternative method because we have no other out and out striker to throw into the mix.

Not necessarily true, we could use Kane and Son as an orthodox front two with Lamela, Dolphin as orthodox wingers for example, but in any system we use we are missing the all essential metronomic lock picker.

All this talk of Leicester not being a good side.... lets be serious guys. Yes, me may not like their brand of football but they are a fantastic and well drilled unit. The game went exactly to Ranieri's plans tonight. He schooled Pochettino big time.

We will drop more points this season, as will others. Get a grip, this tale has plenty twists and turns left in it and there is plenty to be positive about.

And finally, we need a another striker......

Sorry I have to disagree there. If Kane had buried his chance which he really should have or had Lamela hit the target on the his 2 guilt edge chances then we would have been out of sight and it would have been a fair and reflective story of the game we were watching. Everyone would have been saying how the Leicester bubble had well and truly burst and our fans would probably have been cocky as fuck.

If schooling another manager is putting 10 men behind the ball, riding your luck hoping the other teams strikers have an off day and then knicking a goal on the break then pretty much every manager of a bottom of the league team schools a top manager every Saturday.

Really? Nobody has been burying them this season, are we the exception?
I just feel that with the way we controlled the game we should've put them away. e.g.The first 30 minutes Leicester looked far from top of the table & we didn't capitalise. Doesn't matter if all season no one else has done them, last night we could've and should've.
