Just got in. Don't know how we are playing but am absolutely fucking amazed at Pochettino's stupid stubbornness for continuing to pick Townsend and Chadli instead of going back to the formula with Lamela and Dembele.

I think your earlier comment above is pretty justified, with regards to Chadli.

Not much left to play for this season -(even though we've just scored against a very shitty Leicester) so the deadwood clear out debate can begin...
Lloris - Keep forever.
Rose - Adios (should start playing Davies every game - see what he's got)
Dier - potential.
Verts - should be a boss with a bigger boss beside him. (I'd have liked Lescott on a free last summer).
Walker - Goodbye.
Bentaleb - Dembele is better - a new signing would be even better.
Mason - kept but not an automatic starter. (Pritchard intrigues me).
Townsend - Overprice him and sell him quite easily - such ridiculous hype about him.
Chadli - loss of form - but has potential to be very good.
Eriksen - build the team around him.
Kane - could be a monster with better service.
The bench...can all leave (bar those mentioned above)- I don't think Lamela will ever make it.
Would love some quality MoPo signings...
A Schneiderlin and a the rumoured Konoplyanka would raise the bar considerably... we need some proven quality in this team - too much reliance on potential at the moment.
That said - MoPo beat the Ar$e scum 2-1 and the Horrible Chelski 5-3 with the current players - and a cup final - a lot more than I expected in November. Improvement takes time and the freedom of a manager to bring in HIS players.

I'm sorry but Poch is getting exposed as average. Great managers make great decisions at the crucial moment. Poch dropped Dembele, has made numerous shocking team selections and persists with a system that allows the 2cms to be dragged all over the park and out of position, compensating for weak wing forwards and offering no protection to an average defence. Such a glaring lack of ability to adapt. I wouldn't be surprised if poch suffers the same fate as AVB for a very similar stubbornness and ego issue. We are utterly reliant on one great player.... Deja vu?

Until Poch gets the players he wants in you cannot judge his style of play. For once, we have to back our manager.

I will say this, with Paulinho in there giving us more of a three, we have looked better. Maybe Poch will pick up the message that a 4-3-3 isn't such a terrible idea.
