We've been fucking fantastic with and without the ball. Every single player. Brilliant. True team performance so far. Well done everyone!!!!!!!

Interestingly, things come across hugely different on TV. Spoke to my brother in law at half time and apparently Lennon is getting pelters. I thought he looked good. Bentaleb running the show according to my man on the ground.

I screamed like a girl when that went in, and you could see it meant so much to him too, Really chuffed for him, well deserved goal, Loving this midfield too, Bentaleb has been class, him and Mason look to already have a good understanding, probably comes from there days in the U21's.

give that man an "Oscar"…….

This has been an emotional half.
Welled up a few times now especially when the crowd have been loud and went berserk when Soldado scored. Unbelievably happy for him.

  1. What a fucking half!! So so so pleased.

This is what a Pochettino team plays like and hopefully what we have to look forward too if we stick by him. Just remember that in case we chuck it all away second half.

The Spurs gather in the tunnel as they wait for captain Hugo Lloris to lead them back on to the White Hart Lane pitch. Roberto Soldado struts out at least three inches taller after that goal.

Should of always been from the start.... :coffee:

I don't think Chadli deserves to be dropped going forward just because of that first half. We are winning today, but we just don't have many in this squad who can score goals like he can. 6 league goals in something like 11 starts as a LWF is a hell of a return.

I know it sounds like a ridiculous thing to say 'besides the goals what does he offer?' but I really do see it that way.

Ultimately, it's more important that we have an effective team than to see one player scoring goals.

In this case I'd rather see Chadli on the right or even up front (assuming we stay 4-2-3-1).

If we continue like this then I think it's going to be very hard to include Chadli or Lamela, unless we include Townsend on the left to act as a natural winger and have Lamela on the left, though he seems to prefer to play behind the striker, so Kane would have to be dropped. In a way it's more of an advantage as we can expose other teams through this versatility of personnel. Good to have options.
