I’ve narrowed it down to VFTL with Danny Kelly I don’t mind him at all, also from an Irish background and has been through the exact same time frame with Spurs as my dad, he watched Greaves when he was a little lad and then in the late 70s Ricky, Ossie and then Hoddle, Waddle, Gazza. I don’t agree with everything he says but very listenable. Also remember him in his GLR / BBC Radio London days when I was little.

Also Gold and Guest are a good go to as well.

I’ve had to narrow down the Spurs podcasts as a lot of them have been too much for one’s tolerance levels.

LWOS has lost its way and unfortunately has gone stale: perhaps the season we’ve had has got to them but for me it’s far too long with many going off on tangents and extended monologues that seem endless.

I’m surprised by the disdain now for TFC. I was one that when I first heard it I was immediately turned off by the vulgarity and debauchery on it so to speak. But actually while I roll my eyes at some of it, their pod makes me laugh the most and they have had me crying laughing sometimes. You’re not listening to it to learn anything really. We’ve said over and over again on here that it’s really just for fun and a relaxed chat with mates about Spurs.
It's still the OG for me and I listen every week but sometimes I can't be bothered to hear about wanking or taking one for the team if it means spurs win a game.😂

I like a bit more analysis with my podcasts, so that’s why I go for The Extra Inch. I actually like a breakdown of what went wrong/well rather than were fucking shit/ gonna win the league. I’ve got all my mates for that level of detail.
Maybe that’s just me.

VFTL also very good.

Another sacked manager should be interesting these coming seasons (I hope) as both presenters watching from afar in Australia

TFC is good apart from the toilet humour that flav frequently introduces

VFTL and The Tottenham Way are good I think, as is Spurs Show

So many podcasts now - occasionally listen to Dr Tottenham, The VAR Side, The Spurs Plus Dave (Leeds supporter!), Gold & Guest, Cheeseroom, Echoes of Glory, Wheeler Dealer Radio (American), Rule the Roost, Hotspurs podcast. Cock & Ball, Game is about glory, etc

Sadly becoming repetitive in many cases

Quite like "The Price of Football" and "The Brazilian Shirt Name" which is Tim Vickery - both often have bits on Spurs

Nathan on TEI has some pretty out there views on the military which he expressed during the 'Missing Man' flyover formation of the THS during an NFL match.. was pretty disrespectful. Took a lot of heat for it on Twatter.

It's one of the better Pods, some good analysis.

I think it’s lost a bit of magic since they have different guest on. It’s still ok but nowhere near as funny as it was prior to going on Patreon

The Spurs Show and VFTL are the two I listen to. It’s good to get objective views from Jack Pitt-Brooke and Charlie Eccleshare on the latter as both of them aren’t Spurs supporters. Danny Kelly I’ve always liked and is, it must be said, a professional broadcaster. He has a hinterland beyond Spurs and football and brings in lots of references which (to these ears at least) is really good. The Spurs Show is OG, good guests, and clearly a bunch of people with decent connections to the club. Some of their live show recordings are really insightful, and you get the occasional nugget from them. They recently had Pleat on, a good conversation with Ryan Mason a few years back and some decent ones with Mabbsy and Hoddle.

I hate to say it but I can’t get 10 minutes into TFC without switching off. Years ago when it was always released on a Tuesday afternoon I was gutted if I never got it in time for the commute home. I’m not criticising it as it may be more to do with me changing (I’m growing old 😢), than it’s is the pod, but it’s lost the the magic of the old days.

Looks like we now have an official Spurs Podcast hosted by Michael Dawson. First episode feature Ledley.

A nice listen to be fair. There is a little section on Ledley being a ‘one club man’ and him saying winning one trophy with Spurs would have been worth more than multiple at another club. Need to get Harry to watch it… :)

Available on Spursplay.

Is spursplay an app or just via the site?

Thought the opening pod with ledley was brilliant. Daws is one of my favourite ex players so its great to see him hosting. His and Ledley's personalities shine through that whole hour.

I know it'll get accused of being club PR but I think it makes a great addition if its to be a regular thing. You get a real insight into the human behind the player.

My only complant is that I'm a bit mutton and not having a subtitles option meant there was times when
I couldn''t make out what they were saying. Might have to grab the app so i can listen with headphones.

I plan to listen to it this week. Looks like there is a Gomes one too. That should be a great listen.

Oh and credit also has to go to Milesy who does a great job of supporting Daws. Really good decision to get an experienced interviewer in on it.

Just shows it horses for courses because I love the toilet humour on TFC.

Enjoyed the Spurs Plus Dave Podcast's latest episode. They had Jon Mackenzie on from Tifo so for those into tactical breakdowns and that sort of thing it was a good look into Ange's system and how our squad and new signings might fit in.

I have just got onto Ranks FC podcast recently, which is general football show.

Enjoyed the Ange episode.

Also, the Fixing Problems for Premier League clubs was interesting.

Harry Brooks the Coach seems to be a regular contributor, who I find insightful.

Stopped listening to TFC when the main presenter started getting into the hooligan angle and the non-stop cock / coke talk all show. Was a shame as it used to be a decent listen back in the day.

Good to see the Spurs plus Dave pod drop back into my feed this morning. Gold & Guest still streets ahead as the best Spurs pod IMO

Surprised a bit at some of the takes here.
VFTL is great. Don't see what some people dislike about Danny K. He's passionate and articulate, and not afraid to make some controversial takes at times.

Extra Inch is very good. By far the best analysis of the actual football. Nathan is very switched on. Don't get what some people dislike.

LWOS I tried 3 times and found it utterly unlistenable.

Each to their own, i suppose. I agree with what many have said on TFC though. Enjoyable, likeable, but could do without all the snagging talk etc, which, as someone posted above, comes across very chavvy
Completely agree!!! Love Danny Kelly and VFTL.

Can’t stand Ricky Sacks, Lee McQueen and all the other negative shouting know nothings they have on that waste of time show.
