feel like we'll be labelled as an end of season collapsers, but really it's a lot of top teams in a row where nobody would pick up max points.

All the "leaks" of Newcastle at home as first game. I think people misunderstood and it's just our season normally starts in December (and ends in February :p).

I like massive games at the end of the season.

It means that things can potentially be in your own hands (if you're competing for something) and also there is a chance you catch a big team when they've got nothing to play for and don't care.
Or rotating for Champ League semis etc

Hopefully we'll have Brentford's goalkeeper playing for our side by then. Also Toney will still be banned

A fair few tough games home first and then away layer on the season. Hopefully will suit the new manager. Away in the NLD first again though. Nice final 2 games of the season but City, Arsenal and Liverpool back to back before then.

The home games overall at the start aren’t quite as bad on second look but it is hard to know which lower teams will start the season on fire because there are always a couple.

The start is truly horrific United Liverpool arsenal in our first 7.

And 3 newly-promoted teams in our first 8.

This idea that the fixture list has been specially designed by the Premier League to screw Spurs specifically, is ridiculous.

I think the list just shows how much stronger in depth the league is becoming.

Before you might look at 4 teams and think bugger but now you look at Arsenal, Newcastle, City, Liverpool, Chelsea under Poch, Brighton, Brentford and Villa. It’s almost half the league being very hard games.

I don't mind the fixtures, i hate visting top 6 back to back away from home and we dont have that, also playing early top 6 i like too

I agree but I also think that a kind fixture list can really help a team gain momentum, see the scum last season as evidence.

Man U play MNF the first weekend and it’s likely that will be a televised game the second weekend. If it is the early Saturday kick off then it’s to our advantage.

We've got the 3rd-easiest start and we finish against Burnley and Sheffield United ffs.

Statistically-speaking, only Manchester City and Chelsea have easier starts to the season than us.

But sure, hardest start ever, can't imagine a worse fixture list, etc.

You lip-wobbling bunch of tarts.

That's a really strange article because it places zero emphasis on whether teams are home or away

Almost as strange as people claiming we've got the hardest set of opening fixtures in the history of football itself, owing to games against Brentford, Bournemouth, Burnley and Sheffield United.

Exactly, that’s what I’m saying. I dont see it as a problem. arsenal came top of this chart last season and we saw how their opening fixtures went.
