Carroll will never make it here but if he doesnt sign a new contract his value will drop when we come to sell him.

We will sell him is my feeling. Makes good business sense, especially when clubs weren't snapping our hands off for him in the summer.

As I said before this simply isn't true!

His value is practically around £2-3m at the moment, him signing a 3 year contract doesnt increase his value at all. A 2 year contract would have done the same effect

Personally I dont know why we did this and why such a long contract was given to him

Personally, I doubt if THFC, including Poch, give a fuck as to what you, personally, think is an error of judgement.

What's your day job? Concentrate on that.

Again it isn't,

And lets be honest who will want to sign carroll. Holding him down for 3 years does nothing to his value, if no one wants him what will that extra year do?

If Carroll was wanted by a club we couldn't ask for more because he had an extra year on his contract, as the club would look elsewhere

We wanted £5m when he was at Swansea, since then his value has gone down considering he has barely played anything. Who wants to sign a player who hasnt had a run of games in years. Let alone pay extra.

With Pritchard it made sense for him to get an extra long contract, as he was clearly proven as a top championship player, he is proven a player who does make a difference and had some demand for himself.

If we were to sell Carroll tomorrow, who would honestly pay £3m-4m for him, at this rate we would lucky to get £1m-2m. Until he plays week in week out, his value will continue to plummet regardless of how long his contract
