Botev's DOF said that Salzburg (Austrian team) bid 3m Euro for Nedelev, allegedly it was not accepted.

Botev DOF Atexander Alexandrov said that there is another team interested in Nedelev but their priority is Tottenham.
As a Bulgarian i can also confirm that our domestic football is far below average for the last 20 years so it is early to say if Nedelev will shine in UK.
The best for Nedelev is to be sold abroad (I hope to Spurs) and then to be loaned for a season in Holland or Germany etc. There is no point to buy him and put to play with recerves.

Roma and Spurs have apparently each been in for these players.
I almost get the impression that Baldini and Sabbatini are working off the same list they had when together at Roma and are trying to snap as many of them up before the other guy gets to them - like some kind of game show.

There was an article posted here on here where Baldini asked Sabitini if going for Vlad would hurt them. There seems to be a gentleman's agreement, or in the least, an understanding and mutual respect for each others clubs.

I think you may be correct. Just got this article from DiMarzio's site (the Italian Journo). It seems Lamela, Ljajic and Nedelev may all be part of puzzlw that needs to be solved before the deals can go through. May be part of reason for the Lamela delay. The jist is that Roma are looking at Ljajic and Nedelev as a replacement for Lamela. Translation by Google so apologies if doesn't make total sense!

Botev's GM has just announced that:
"There is an interest towards Todor Nedelev not only from a Brittish club, but also from clubs from two other countries. We already have an offer for Nedelev and I believe everything will be clear within a week."
And yes, Baldini is in Plovdiv watching Todor live vs. Slavia.

Sory but i tend to disagree with you. Nedelev is Botev and Bulgaria best player this season and to loan him to Championship will be disaster for him...just like to start against Arsenal next week and everybody to expect to beat our rival alone...or to stay in Bulgaria. I can see Todor good enough for middle table Italian, Holland or German team at the moment so he to be able to ain experience and fitness.
