Great news. His form has maybe dipped a bit over the last number of months but now that his contract situation has been put to bed I hope that he can rediscover the performance levels that I have always believed has made Toby our most important player. The rock of our team!!

you beauty, returning to some stability and removing off the field distractions for a key player in our defence for the past 4 years.

Something like this can give the whole club a lift going into the second half of the season. Lets hope it does.

Brilliant news, as long as we are already thinking longer terms and a proper successor

So happy to hear this, it's actually brought a tear to my eye.

But then I also cried when people were making the memes of Kane claiming goals that weren't his. I think I'm just unreasonably emotional when it comes to Spurs

Delighted. Hopefully his form picks up a bit now that the uncertainty over his future is sorted. Would like something similar for Jan.

Don't know there seemed to be rumours that he was prepared to sign a new contract with Jose coming, but the length of the contract is something of a surprise. I thought 2 years, but 3 & bit is longer than I thought might happen.

Clearly been told he's the leader at the back & I hope he can get back to being something like he was a season or two ago.

Well, I think that's common sense from levy, and possibly a 40 million pound saving to try to fill that role... Think Toby will go down in Tottenham history as one of the greats.
