To those of you on the season ticket waiting list

I got sad looking at my position on the waiting list and even sadder that it hadn't been updated yet, so I sent the club an email and got this reply:

Hello

Thank you for your email.

No season tickets have been offered for this season. The waiting list will be updated towards the end of October.

Not sure if this is common knowledge as this is only my second season as a Bronze member, but thought there might be some people on here who'd like to know. :cheers:

My mate bought a 1/2 season ticket a couple of years ago at Christmas. No waiting list for him anymore. Not sure if they still do them but worth checking it out

That's how I got mine - about four years ago - but I've not seen them advertised recently. I feel eternally grateful that I was skiving off at work and looking at the website at work. I replied immediately but was still just at the end of the list of people who got them.

I was a member for 5 years before I was offered a Season Ticket, and that was before the CL!!

Me and the missus got offers of 1/2 season rickets last Christmas but the timing was well off and we reluctantly had to pass on the understanding that it doesn't affect our position on the waiting list. It hasn't. We are still in the mid six hundreds.

So we hope to get a half season ticket offer later this year or at the beginning of next season.

We are bronze members of about four years I think.

That's how I got my foot in the door about five years ago with a half season ticket, I wasn't even a member at that time, it was a birthday present.

Ive been a member for about 4 years and am around 9000th on the list.

This is my mates 2nd year as a member and he is around 8000th.

Basically, that list is a complete lottery, trust me.

That doesn't sound right. I've had a ST for 1 season. The season before I think I was 1,600th on the list and I'd only joined a year before. I make that 3 seasons of being on the list. Maybe it was 4 but I can't see how you'd be 7,000 places behind me even today. Were you on the waiting list 4 seasons ago?

I'm not surprised actually, I can't imagine anyone relinquishing their season ticket now unless it was financial reasons... Oh well, another year in 15,492nd place...

I was on the waiting list 2 seasons and got offered a last minute season ticket beginning of last season, I was around 5000th on the waiting list I think, must have been a lot of people who turned them down.

Just lucky I had the money to buy one at the time, was given 2 days to decide now I've been a Season Ticket holder 2 seasons, the season we got into the Champions League and the season we play in the Champions League, not bad!

yeah my brothers been on the list now for 4 years and it says he is 9110. so not sure how this is worked out??

I am 99 per cent sure your position is also linked to your attendance... I went to 36 games home and away in the second year of my membership and leapt up something like 15,000 places. Whether it's right or wrong I have overtaken a lot of people I know who have been members for longer, but who go far less than I do.
