I'm really warming to Mason and would be happy if he got the job full-time. He's done a lot in only a few games - and against some very strong opposition. The players look happier and you can see the confidence coming back; he's made some big calls (dropping Dier), which fly in the face of those silly jibes that he only picks his mates; he's shown himself to be tactically flexible (and can clearly communicate his plans in a way that the team have quickly grasped); and we're starting to once again play the "Tottenham Way" (despite the results, some of the football we played against United and Liverpool was extremely attractive). Defensively we were fantastic against Palace and looked so much more organised, stable and determined than we have done for ages. We could do a lot worse than give him the chance to prove what he can do.

Personally I like everyone's enthusiasm for Mason, he ticks a ton of the right boxes, he'd sort our culture out to match what Spurs is all about, the players like him, he's shown already that he's good tactically.

Sure getting the job full time would be a different pressure and expectation than his two interim Manager roles but as I've said before if we can't get Naglesman, Slot and a few other top targets then I think Mason should absolutely start to come into the reckoning.

That being said I think right now after the last 3 years the club needs a proper reset and fresh start and Mason wouldn't really represent that as he's been part of the coaching set-up over the last 3 years. The players, fans, club etc could do with a fresh new voice but the right one.

I'd love Mason stepping in, but after our next manager had a successful 2-3 year spell and goes to a Barca/Madrid. Not replacing the next manager to get sacked.

Spoke so well in the latest presser again, especially about our lost values and culture and the fact that everyone needs to follow in the same way for our club or any club to be successful, players, manager, fans, internal staff all need to be on the same page and their needs to be a consistent approach.

Literally exactly what so many of us on here are saying has been the problem every since Poch was sacked.

If Mason is repeating this week after week and Kane the same then that is promising with regards to Daniel Levy hopefully listening to them even if he can at times be a bit poor at reading the room when it comes to what the fans are saying, Kane and Mason are both influential right now.

The more I listen to Ryan the more it makes me want to see how he'd do as our Manager as you never know he could be just what we need but if not then I hope he stays around to support the next Manager and/or he gets a chance as our Manager in a few years time.

He says the things a lot of us have been saying - he cares about the club in the same way we all do. So there is that erm alignment. There is clearly a disconnection between the club and fans stemming from the last four years of shite and having people in who were never suited to us.

Anyways, im now ready to move on and forward and away from all the gloom that has clouded this club - im just tired from it. I really am excited about the future to see what is to come - new manager, new set up, new players. I am sure im being optimistic but im fucking exhausted by the negativity which we have all been drenched in and for good reason as it has been crap.

He sure comes across well. Reminds me a little of Southgate in terms of temperament. He’s calm, insightful, sticks to his guns and showed he wasn’t afraid to express a strong POV about the culture of the club right now.

He will dive Danny a nice option to consider if we finish strong, and if he is aware that the players were 100%. behind.

No, not saying hire him. But it’s always nicer to have a few good options, as opposed to only one or two half decent options.

I feel so proud for him and what he has achieved following his horrible injury. No matter what happens, I’m a big believer in him as a coach, and will cheer him on, wherever and whatever he does next.

I love how smart he is and the way he talks.
I have to admit I’m slowly changing my mind.
It might not be a bad thing to give him the job.

Give Money Mase a crack now IMO.

At least he'll care and try to bring back some positivity into the club.

Not really another outstanding candidate available either now that we can't get Nagelsmann.

Well I figure it this way; if we can hire Bentaleb fanboy, Timmy Sherwood, I'm more than willing to take a punt on Mason.

This weekend will be a good indicator of where we are at with Mason. Tough opponents who are in good form and have a tactically astute manager.

hope he continues to drop who he needs to drop and continues to try and play football on the front foot.

Just watched the Mason presser.

The big thing for me, this Kane Mason consistent messenging about values and culture, how the club has lost it over the last few years and it needs to return to be successful. Levy unwittingly has put two true Tottenham boys together who are mates leading the charge and calling out the culture. I find that very revealing, pleasing and satisfying as I think it’s a message to Levy, as well as to the players they need to pull their socks up and also to the fans to recognise things ain’t been right. Almost like they are a couple of fans who are calling it out in professional terms having known the behind the scenes truth.

Mason refers to it as club, the building, within these four walls as something that goes beyond the team/players. Culture, creating an environment. That’s surely a bit of a line towards Levy?

Maybe I’ve heard and interpreted this the way I want. But do feel the two of them are on the offensive and recognise a big opportunity to galvanise their positions and improve their club.

He’s been a tonic following the car crash of a few months we’ve had after the World Cup. Makes you wonder even more why we put Stellini in charge after Conte’s sacking and not Mason.

Wasn’t it widely rumoured at the time that Mason wasn’t comfortable taking it knowing that his child’s birth was imminent and he needed to take off at a moment’s notice to support his partner?

I had never considered Mason as a candidate for permanent manager because it felt like the easy, cop out option for a directionless and ambition-less club. However, hearing him speak and watching the tactical changes he has begun to make, there’s a big part of me that thinks he deserves a shot at it. He just gets it - he understands the club and can identify where we’ve lost our way recently.

I suppose the worry is that because of his inexperience and because he’s part of the furniture, does he have the force of will or the stature to convince our clueless hierarchy of transfers needed, changes to be made etc? On the flip side, he’s hungry for the job, he loves the club and senior players like Kane seem to really be behind him.

The last three games will be hugely interesting to see how results and performances go. If he’s got the ability, I think I’d much rather give him a chance now than over-reaching again on someone whose ambitions we’ll never meet.

Speaks very well but does he need to constantly refer to ‘this football club’? Does my nut in. Just say club, we all know you’re talking about football.

I think the majority of fans feel he isn't quite ready, but like him nonetheless.

If, and it's a big if, he is appointed, the worst thing we, as a fan group can do, is continue our discontent so obviously, because he will need 100% backing from all of us.

This will be tough, because of the atmosphere Levy has created, but Ryan deserves our full support, and we may just have to put Levy/Enic on the back burner for a while (literally, in some cases).
