I listen to talksport on and off because I like football and it's the only station that pretty much continuously talks about football. But it is shit, there's no doubting this.

How Alan Brazil has still got a job there I don't know. He just waffles continuously and sounds like he's just woken up with 7 bottles of champers. Ronnie Irani is much better now than he was, but that's not hard because he was ****ingly bad.

I only realised how much I dislike Richard Keys when he started on talksport. He just comes across as an arrogant, unlikeable **** who tries too hard to be a lad when the probable truth is that he was bullied at school. Andy Gray I can handle more than Keys, but nevertheless, he's still a ****.

Hawksbee is in the minority as he appears to be quite normal. No bias just because he's a yid (he's said a few things I disagree with about Spurs) but the show itself is a bit boring. Jacobs is an untalented, annoying whining bitch.

Durham's a ****. Goughie is another who has improved vastly and I don't mind him to be honest, though does spout shit from time to time (Messi isn't all that).

Danny Kelly is ok if you don't mind stuttering, warbling and a hint of over-excitedness.

Collymore is irritating. Decent enough knowledge of football and commentary but that voice!! And he always talks over people and sometimes stops mid sentence to make funny chewing type noises with his mouth. Got owned by a Chelsea supporter last week who said Lampard hit a penalty like he hit Ulrika. Left him speechless for once.

Saggers is meh. Must be difficult for him with Collymore.

Ian Danter is decent enough. Andy Goldstein has his moments and though he may not be overly funny, his shows are decent enough especially if he's filling in for others. Jason Cundy blows between hot and ****, depending on the topic. Another who can be easy to hate. The bird on Sundays is ok.

Don't listen through the night so don't know the presenters. Think I've covered most there. Was nice to get that off my chest.

Overall, ****iness rules.

In order of shitness

1 Collymore - there's has never been a caller who has not been interupted by him mid sentence......ever! His anti-Bale crusade was nauseating quite frankly. To dump on a players' reputation and accuse him of being a cheat to generate interest in a talk show and do so for 2 weeks solid speaks volumes about the man.

3 Durham - Harry's little soldier. Some of the stuff he comes out with is actually embarrassing

2 Roni Irani - He tries to sound intelligent but Joey Barton's toe clippings have more intellect.

4 Mick Quinn - the National Enquirer or Daily Sport equivalent of radio "journalism". Will someone please let the poor dear know that this is not the 80s and Liverpool have been shit for quite some time.

A little while ago he was saying AVB was no good because he wasn't getting the best out of Bale, so I guess he's changed his tune.

Anyway like Bomber says I listen in the car mostly because my speakers are rubbish and makes it pointless listening to music. So the choice is Talksport or bbc radio 5. Talksport talks about football 90% of the time which is why I listen.

Although the presenters are quite bad I find the general knowledge of fans worse, I mean I don't know where they get some of their callers from I really don't.

You're not missing much mate, unless you consider boring old men talking about fishing entertaining and Mike Graham covering mulitiple topics yes not knowing much about any of them. This is the guy that said "nobody had ever heard of Yaya Toure until he went to City", filling in on a morning show with that twat Parry who got sacked. Oh dear. Don't give up the night job mate. Thankfully i only work days so don't have to endure him.Shame as Ian Collins was good like i mentooned earlier in the thread.

Ah yeah I remember that Toure comment. What a twat. And I completely forgot about Quinn. What a **** he is.

Collins was ok if not a tad boring. And Gaunty? ****y.

I find this post damned offensive, if I was black, brown, yellow, green, red, gay, disabled or even Irish you would not be allowed to say this, but because I am a member of a unique genetic group of strikingly attractive appearance I am to be subjected to all manner of filthy abuse, because my hair glows like an Autumn sunset I am fair game to any pastey faced whitehead or muddy mopped nobody. Persecution of Ruddys, auburns, strawberry blondes, redheads and gingers has reached the point where it is no longer acceptable, I shall come for you in the night. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Why would I be afraid....? What are you, a ginja ninja

Adrian Durham and Darren Gough always seem to hold diametrically opposing views. Coincidence?

Durham is basically employed to be a professional twunt. Taking him seriously is about as stupid as believing pro wrestling isn't fixed.

STOP. HOLD ON.

Wrestling is fixed?

Fuck. I bet everyone knew about this but me. Always the last to find out. :(

I would agree about Collins but he mellowed abit towards the end and he eventually grew on me. Galloway should be deported and Gauntie... Well he's up there with Piers Morgan and Shane Ritchie on my hit list.

BALE IS A TARGET AND IT'S TOTTENHAM'S FAULT

Are Tottenham turning Gareth Bale into
a target?

Take Bale out of Spurs this season and they’d be mid-table.

I don’t think the Premier League has seen a better example of a one-man team. He has transformed games and won loads of points for them.

So how do you stop him? This weekend we’ve seen some horrendous fouls again, the worst of which was Lee Cattermole’s first-minute butchering of Aaron Ramsey.

I desperately hope that no player goes out thinking they’ll 'put one on Bale' as a way of taking him out of the game and keeping Spurs quiet.

Not only will it rob us of a chance to see a terrific player but it will also speed his departure abroad.

He has ginger hair.

No one with ginger hair has ever had an opinion that mattered.

Dont care what he said. Or will ever say.

well, the Premier League HAS. Robin Van Persie has been a one man team for two clubs at various points, Thierry Henry was before him and Luis Suarez has been this season as well. Every club has a focal point at some stage. Durham is, once more, a cock.

In a world where rubbish journalism is rife due to the help of t'internet, this latest 'piece' by Durham, with it's unbelievable headline, is right up there with the very worst I've ever read, which is some achievement.

Well done Durham, you stupid ****.

Durham is a twat but everything he says in that article is true. If his name wasn't associated with it, we wouldn't be that bothered about it.

As for Talks****, i find it sad that the station quality has dropped so much over the years. Its like the Sun on radio but at least the Sun has some nice tits on page 3.

I remember when it was launched as just Talk Radio, in the mid nineties and they had James Whale etc. As soon as it switched to Talk Sport it started going to shit and employing c**** like George Gallaway.

I only listen to sport radio in the car on the way to and from whl and always choose 5 live. At least they have a conversation with the listener. All the presenters do on TAlks**** is cut people off after ten seconds so they can then spout shit until the next "caller".

Thing is with Durham, he always focuses on the negative, that's what pisses me off. Like the other day with Lennon and Walcott. Lennon didn't do much in the ten minutes he was on the pitch while Walnut had a good game, I accept that. But instead of focusing on Walnut's good performance, and his good form this season, he uses it as a stick to beat Lennon with, someone who also has improved a lot this season. He plays the same trick time and time again. Every weekend he'll find some negative spin on the days events and use it to wind up fans who care about their team and their players.

IMO Durhams main problem is that his act has got old. When I first listened it was quite a novel approach but now you can just here him reaching. He cant believe in half of the arguments he sides on.

So you think we would be a midtable team without Bale
