In regards to El Shaarawy, Kaka is going to Milan and SES didn't play tonight so a transfer might be in the cards but most "internet" reports have him linked to Man City. Would love him though as he seems to fit what we need in a LW attacker and has loads of potential. Him, Lamela, Townsend, Chadli would be amazing on the wings - all under 22 yrs too I believe.

Can't believe we would sell Bale without smtg saying Arsenal can't buy any RM players......they were so desperate for Bale they would 100% have accepted it.....

I think the goats got confused or misled, the only £45m signing that'll make your jaw drop is Ozil and he's going to Arsenal, sadly.
I agree we should cancel the partnership with Madrid, it's a farce.
Part of the Bale deal should have stipulated that they couldn't sell to Arsenal, i.e. strengthen our direct rivals.

It would be quite the move from Florentino Perez to buy Bale for 85 million, while selling Ozil to Arsenal for 45 million. Modric and Isco look phenomenal so far this season. Add Bale to what they have, and with it completely offset by selling Ozil and Higuain, while also getting one over on Levy.
I for one would welcome Hulk with open arms. He can shoot from distance and will get goals in this league. His price doesn't really bother me, as after the Bale sale, we now have a net profit this window of 5 million pounds.
