SSN now reporting that all 3 parties have problems with the Bale transfer.
This still isn't a certainty.
Plan A?
He's stays

Well I'm still alive boys!
The only thing is that players at Spanish and Portugese clubs all have buy-out clauses, so we could go a 'do a Dembele' and turn up and slap down a cash payment for someone like Muniain, Griezmann or Rodrigo.
Maybe a loan with option to buy. He can prove his fitness from now until January by playing
If that's the case, there's probably also an announcement of a new signing or signings. Otherwise, God forbid if we don't get a result, which I know we will, that will be one sad post-game conference.Avb will confirm bale is gone in the post match press conference around 6 is my bet!
If we buy any more players by the deadline tomorrow I'll be really surprised. But it will be a pretty good bonus, although the issue of gelling so many players will get even tougher for AVB.
Maybe Halilovic is still something that can be worked on.
I've got a feeling with Luongo being sold we will loan Swindon another academy player for the season. Are there any major positions they need filling?
This is what i think (reference to the latest few ITKs that have been floating around)
Personally, i think these 3 players answer the Huge player tag, back to Plan A and Sensitivity......
Bale
Mata
Suarez
Wasn't the plan A was to keep Bale? He was promised to stay to a number of players who came in (Soldado, Paulinho etc etc)
Rob said there were too many inconsistencies in his story - that he was an ex-youth team coach now working in Scottish lower leagues, yet he knew all the intricate financial details of the Bale deal etc. I think JJ spoke warmly about him because he shared his fanatisim for Sherwood!
I think the Benny medical thing is just a myth started by him, which has spread/keeps being rehashed.
Do people actually think that players are so petty that their sole purpose of moving to Tottenham was to play with Bale and that they will kick up a fuzz if he is sold? These players are proffessional footballers, not fans of Tottenham or 5 year old kids.

I just can't see us announcing it on nld day. If we lose its a pr disaster for the club. Maybe not to us, but to the average fan.
Morning allPinch and a punch first of the month! And we're almost at the finishing line of this epic and unforgettable transfer window. Finally. Woohoo.Yesterday threw up a couple of surprises, the main one being that nobody translated the welcome messages
