Ooh, that's just plain dirty talk, but I like it.also from ali z, not player specific though: For the right player we would pay far more than £15 m

The issue with SB though is that he isn't used to playing as a lone striker , I think at west boom he played alongside a traditional no 9 and as POch likes to play with one up front I can't really see how he'll fit in unless w ell an to use him as a LWF which isn't his preferred position....seems to me like another case of exhausting other options and making do with what's left on the market...square peg , round hole all over again....
Paging Pedro, Shurrle, Pogba, etc
Poch said he wanted a smaller squad. For that you need players that can play in more than one position. He is capable of doing that very well.

Off the pitch, he needs to change. We do not know if this is still the case. If there is a real concern, his conduct can be part of his contract.Usual football thing all off field behavior is forgiven or forgotten as long as people believe you perform on the pitch. Thus we have idiots like Suarez getting huge moves despite going round biting everyone.

On the pitch is what we need to consider: great prospect - needs to get game time in decent team.
Would you really turn down Suarez? Even though he's a little bitey?
I'm not sure how effective SB would be up front on his own and ah e rarely seen Poch beer from his strict 4-2-3-1...considering he will prob cost north of 20m I would rather go for Batshuayi who can play on his own up front and is used to the high pressing game of BielsaPoch has played 2 up top and berahino has played up front on his own. Kane and berahino have formed probably the most leathal patnership the u21's have ever seen.
Who would you get for the price?
I think this is partly why the Club are taking their time in considering this move. Poch obviously knows we need pace and a killer finisher to carry the workload with Kane or can be used as an alternative to Kane.
I would doubt very much that we won't have someone signed, sealed and Stoof stamped before the end of July.
Prices are all inflated. English clubs have never been richer, so it takes huge sums of money for clubs to release their players. The selling club in turn will have to pay inflated prices for replacements or shop abroad but they all need to retain a homegrown quota so are tied to buying domestically. With Suarez gone to Fiorentina it seems McCarthy would be the next option. Berahino is looking most likely for a wide forward.
Are we really going to spend upwards of £40m on James McCarthy and Saido Berahino?
If we don't get McCarthy, we're fucked.Looks like we can chalk Mario Suarez off the list, an update on his future in the players thread.
ST - kane, SB , soldado/new striker
LW - SB, NC
AMC - eriksen, lamela, mason
RW - lamela, lennon/townsend/pritchard
honestly good enough for me.
for MC i like james mccarthy but i really really wish spurs can break the bank for kramer.
If we don't get McCarthy, we're fucked.

I'm hoping we have some other irons in the fire as I wouldn't feel at all confident that we could tie up a McCarthy deal...
Of course you wouldI would definitely turn down Suarez. He is a ticking time bomb.
