Could we be starting the season off with a Dan Evans vs Andy Murray final in Sydney?

Murray managed to defeat Alcaraz at Indian Wells back in October I think, so I know he still hasn't lost it. Still, I will be surprised if he can get past Opelka tonight (not that surprised mind you), and it would be a strong indicator that he still has some more important singles trophies to add to his display cabinet.

He's put in some good performances since he's been back but Alcaraz completely fell apart against him after that first set in Indian wells - some of the unforced errors were comical.

It'll be a tough game tonight but Murray's always been a great returner, so hoping he gives it a good go.

Djokovic visa cancelled; for now. Back to the other sort of court.

My concern is the way it’s been handled gives the impression of being media driven rather than due process.

However, saying that:
  • if he did test positive in December then he’s consciously put many people at risk being aware that he had COVID and still attending events
  • if he didn’t test positive then he’s falsified legal documents in order to get around the country’s COVID restrictions

Back to the actual tennis… Murray just won his semi final :woot:

Is this being shown anywhere on TV?
Nope, various sites have said that it's being shown on Prime but they've only got the WTA event in Sydney while Eurosport are showing the Adelaide ATP event.

Can't even find radio commentary anywhere :banghead:
