Wish I could have seen the PSG game. They have a top academy their and that must have been a great test for the youth.

Looks like Roles was dropped from the squad today even with Dele injured. Looks like he didn’t impress unless injured himself. Wonder if that’s his chance gone.

roles doesn't have the physical presence to compete at this level yet, hopefully we can get him a good loan in the next month. tanganga has had a good summer but in some ways he may have been too good in that we'll keep him around under some false pretence that he's going to get a genuine chance when we all know that he'll soon fall out of the picture once dier, davies, foyth etc are back, he's raised his reputation now though so should attract better loans but the championship window closes the same time as the pl this year if i'm not mistaken so unless something happens in the next few days then he'll be looking at either league 1 or abroad.

tob hasn't been involved at all this week so either he's injured or maybe sorting out a move, before the window i would have said a champ loan is beyond him but the previous speculation would suggest that's not the case. shashoua is in a bit of a weird spot due to his season finishing so late, hope we haven't forgotten about him but a champ loan or another year abroad would be the best outcome. whiteman and/or austin could really do with getting some experience elsewhere but we're probably looking at league 2/conference level. eyoma i would loan out but suspect will be kept, same goes for hinds. imagine sterling will get another loan, probably league 1, georgiou a similar level although i'm amazed he's still here tbh. you look at our u23 squad on the OS and it's a pretty ridiculous size and that's not even including the many u18s who will play up, surely it's in everyone's interest to thin the numbers down - again this is where i think we could do with having someone at the club whose sole job is to find suitable loans for these lads.
