Imagine if Poch’s idea of holding onto his players and building a team is actually the reason why we are in the CL final.

In hindsight, what a missed opportunity to have sold Trippier last summer window, reckon we could have gotten around £60m for him after that World Cup!
I made the suggestion on here at the time and got shat on from a merry height.

You're not wrong - he really does remind me of Mahrez, but think Ziyech looks much more suited to us and our style of play than Mahrez ever did.
Mahrez is exactly the comparison I was thinking of. Looks like Mahrez when he was having his wonder season for Leicester, but Ziyech has a way better work rate. Looks like he can play across the front 3 too. Seemed to be everywhere, but somehow not out of position at the same time.

For sure, huge difference between gross and net profit from tournament bonuses. 7 goals vs. City & Ajax don't come cheap either.
