Is it unrealistic to think we still have an outside shot at the title? Chelsea have some pretty tough games coming up and we have some very winnable ones, we are only 10 points behind them, is it unrealistic to believe?
ONLY 10 points behind?? That's 4 games! We would need to win every single game, and I still don't think they will lose 4 more games! Who will beat them??

If we won every game (we won't, not my point), we'd only need Chelsea to go 8W 2D 2L. They wouldn't have to lose 4; in fact, contrary to your point, I'd be surprised if their points return at the end of the season was better than our maximum of 89. Bigger leads have been chased and caught. I just don't think our side is quite ready to take advantage of any potential slipup unless it's extreme. No shame in that though.

All we can ask is to have a shot in the last game, so we are 7 points away from that. If West Ham can get result against them, then it's down to 4 points - and they have the tougher fixtures than us coming up.

Still a long way to go.

This is a tricky set of fixtures for us:

GW34 Leicester Away
GW35 Arsenal Home
GW36 West Ham Away
GW37 Man U Home

We struggled against Leicester at home and only drew. They are suited to our style of play. I don't fancy West Ham games either. Them thinking they are our rivals, they're always fired up for this fixture. Can see a return of 7-9 pts from above set...

Agree but I keep hoping at some point this talk of a change in mentality will show and we will put together a winning run when we really need one.

This would be an ideal time to do it. Much like Harry's team beating Arsenal, Chelsea and then City at the end of 2009/10.

impossible to predict anymore - will it be the Spurs that beat Chelsea or the Spurs that didn't show up at Anfield? Honestly don't have a clue

If Arsenal fail to beat Liverpool at Anfield and we beat Everton at WHL we could be 5/6 points ahead of them which would be pretty positive. Arsenal then travel to West Brom when we play Southampton at home and then they are at home to Man City when we play Burnley away. Potentially a good chance to increase the gap between us.

Let's just hope that gap ain't ten points then. (walks off mumbling mind the sodding gap)

I really don't think we should just be pencilling in 3 points on Sunday. Everton's form has improved and we don't even know if our best CB will be fit to play.

Certainly not, a tough fixture for sure and the lads will have to fight and work harder than they had to against Stoke. Just wish Rose was fit, I think him in conjunction with Walker just ups our intensity and tenacity so much. Davies although capable of being fairly solid enough is a little tame.

If Everton started the season like they're playing now they may be a lot closer to being in that top 4 than they even are now. I actually hope we treat this like a top 4 home clash.

When we could draw 0-0 against Sunderland, I just dare not think any 3 points is a given certainty this season..

This is the problem, apart from brief purple patches in September and over Christmas, our away form has been largely gash this season. It's so frustrating to think how much healthier a position we would be in had we even turned 2 or 3 of our 6 away draws in to wins.

Our next 7 are:

Everton H
Saints H
Burnley A
Swansea A
Watford H
Bournemouth H
Palace A chucked in somewhere

Even taking 15 points from that (4W, 3D or 5W and 2L) would stick us on 68 points going into our last 5 games. I think 5 wins there is very possible and would put us in a very strong position to finish 2nd and most definitely 3rd

Following our disappointing exit from EL last week and then our display against Stoke, I think the week between games will give Poch the time to get the team set up for the game, and I think the players really want to end the season on a high. I believe that they'll really be up for the remaining games and will have learnt from last seasons finish. They are still young but they are learning hard lessons and I fell that Harry Winks could really come into his own now.

That not to say it's going to be a doddle in the remaining games, but we will see what they are really made of. Now I need to go into a dark room and calm down a touch!

With just the league and FA Cup to concentrate on, I expect the team to go hell for leather.

Outside of that, anything can happen. Chelsea are a Costa fight away from imploding potentially, City could not lose another game, Arsenal will no doubt pull out some 1-0 results, United looking in great form.

Not going to be easy, but then again hardly any pundits had us for a top four spot this year, so keep going.

For the last year and a half we havent managed to take advantage of any slip ups our rivals have given us (at major moments in the season) and this weekend we could change that. A draw for Arsenal/Liverpool on Sat and a win for us would give us a tidy gap (with a much larger GD) and with Arsenal still to play at home, a game I expect to have an incredible atmosphere.

I'm not going to get excited as it's the hope that gets you and inevitably we get let down but this weekend will be a big chance to show we've shaken off that legends tag
