Liverpool are showing how to finish teams off exactly what we should have done against palace and Liverpool this week alone.
Getting top four and perhaps a trophy will do for me and hopefully Jose will get the backing to mount a challenge next year.

It's simple really, win tomorrow and we recover a very good start/position.

We can't afford to drop points tomorrow as that's then bleeding away too many points over the last three games.

So yeah, for the reasons above combined with the aspirations we have I'd say tomorrow is a must win really.

It's a massive game.

Top 4 and a trophy would be a phenomenal season for us. Never really bought the idea of us winning the title. 10/1 shot at best.

I've made this point ad nauseam, but the lack of goals outside of Kane and Son is an enormous problem for this squad. I just can't see a title push while Lo Celso, Ndombele, and Bale all aren't on the pitch together with Kane and Son. However, Mourinho is seemingly risk averse, so in some ways, you probably won't see him try something different with a more attacking lineup until we've dropped lots of points (draws/losses against Leicester, Wolves, Leeds) and are outside the top 6 and he basically has nothing to lose. It wouldn't surprise me if we see some changes after the Leeds game, as that is going to be a very difficult fixture where Mourinho will likely cede 60%+ possession and they will create lots of chances.

Firstly, (IMO) we aren't winning any title. Not this year. Once you accept that then your reactions when we have a bad result will hopefully reflect that.

Secondly, we are a work in progress, so expectations of some sort of parity are often unrealistic and i'm not sure why people get so pissed off or upset. I mean, come on, stuff like "this has ruined my weekend?" or "I am so fucking angry right now"........seriously? If a football match ruins your weekend or gets you 'so fucking angry' there's something fundamentally wrong with you. A spot of meditation might help. No! No! Yankspurs! FFS........leave yourself alone.........I said meditation not masturbation.

Fourthly, you're all ****s.

Yeah yeah yeah, I know there's no thirdly. Well there is, but it was worse than fourthly :D

Seems you're either too optimistic if you think we'll win the league or too pessimistic if you think we won't. There's no grey area and each side of the argument accuse the other of being the extreme opposite.

Some of us are just realists who react to current events. We could win the league this year, but I highly doubt we will and never did to be honest. We've been very good at getting results so far this season and it's brilliant, but I honestly fail to see how anyone could think we've been good enough to win the league YET. Maybe in future, but we haven't been convincing for a while now. Trophy and top four is a definite possibility though.

Its 13 games in ffs, plenty more twists and turns and so much can happen.

Why some people are so negative is beyond me.

To be honest despite what the media has had people believe, it's never been a two-horse race between us and Liverpool or even a three-horse race between us, Chelsea and Liverpool. The table is and had been way too tight to establish as much, at least in my opinion.

We just need to be concerned with ourselves really and take it one game at a time. If we show what we have been recently as well as improvements over time in certain areas we'll still find ourselves more or less around where we want to be.

Perhaps the media has been catching us on the title talk during the two weeks while we stayed top and that dazzled us abit.

We need to be back to the ground and get the necessary 3 points game after game again that got us so well to be in that position once more.

We lost our way a little during the season when Leicester won the league. Hope with Mourinho in helm, we can steer this course better this time. And positively, at least we are only a third in to the season.

There in is the difference - the media haven't really done anything of the sort - maybe a few mentions in passing but nothing that'd suggest they believe it. Mourinho himself likened us to a Pony, didn't he? He may hold a different view behind closed doors, but there would be a message attached to it for sure.

If our players have begun to believe any hype around us, then that'd be Mourinho's next problem to solve. Personally think us competing is an exciting prospect, also think we've surprised a few this season, the piss boiling over the last month is a nod to that.

Love to finally win something this year for sure, no sure it's the league though, this squad still has (some) problems. It's fun though, but fun doesn't always cut it with some folk.

It's 1 result, Big Sam could turn them over with WBA next week and suddenly it'll be back on. Jose and the players have the right idea, 1 game at a time and see what happens. We're still in the mix and so long as we're in the mix then that secures top4 which was the aim in the league this year.

People need to chill out. We have had a great season so far, but there is still a long way to go.

Liverpool won’t win every game between now and the end of the season and neither will we. There will be more twists and turns before the end.

Er Liverpool were BACK when they smacked Wolves then BACK when they dismantled Leicester but then there were some shonky draws in between. Now they squeaked past us and got a freak result at Selhurst and some are saying that's that. It really isn't. Long way to go and plenty more unexpected scorelines to come, we just need to do our thing and try to end up on the right side of the goalscoring. No point over analysing other team's results, the future of the title is as yet unwritten.
