Can anyone more informed than me let me know if the Seahawks did good in the draft? Cant deal with another shite season from across all my teams I support - had enough of this shit
Seahawks took maybe the most polished and NFL-ready offensive tackle in the class so they did ok* so far but they’re in the mix to take a QB tonight.

*I’d argue they lose points for taking the kind of O-lineman Russell Wilson had been crying out for with the pick they received for trading him to Denver but…

International schedule will be announced this week but from Peter King who's very well connected in NFL circles said this:

• The London games will be hosted by Green Bay and New Orleans at Tottenham Stadium, and by Jacksonville at Wembley Stadium. These games will be played in close proximity, likely between Weeks 5 and 8, on Sundays. Crazy to think about this, but I hear the Rams have told the league they wouldn’t mind being the Packers’ foe in London if the league planned to put the Rams in Lambeau Field late in the season. Might make sense, to both neutralize the Pack’s home-field edge and to neutralize possible foul weather.

I think that means 2:30pm kick off UK time in each game.

n.b. The use of versus here is wrong - the 2nd team is the home team in each instance.

That Giants @ Packers game is likely to be the most in-demand London game yet. Hopefully the clamour to see that game makes it easier to get tickets for Vikings @ Saints.

Broncos have a good UK fan base too which ought to draw some fans to the Wembley game.

It’s not “wrong” it is simply different.

Americans list away teams first, home teams second. It probably originates from Baseball, where the home team bats second, and thus has always been listed second.

I think he means that it should be @ not vs - as per the way it works in America. The Giants at the Packers. Not that ordering them away-team-first is wrong.

With versus it’s pretty standard to put the home team first so I think he’s got a point.

Bills v. Rams - Rams are the home team. "Versus" simply indicates they are opponents - not who is the home team.

The NFL designates a home team when games are played abroad. NFL teams play an equal amount of home and away games each season.
I understand that and agree, my point was you can't use the designated @ term because that implies you are playing at their stadium....not playing the designated home team.
