Surprising that the Raiders didn’t even take a flyer on a Day 3 QB.

I always get a kick (no pun intended) out of teams drafting kickers so weirdly excited to see the Vikings take the first Kicker off the board.

One of the biggest questions coming out of that draft is how many of the 6 QBs taken in the first 12 picks start in Week 1. Williams, Daniels and Nix are all likely to start (the first 2 definitely). Penix almost certainly won’t. My prediction is that Maye doesn’t, and it’s 50/50 whether McCarthy starts right away for the Vikings.

Happy with the Vikings haul overall, albeit surprised we didn’t take a DT until our final pick. Interestingly while 7th Round pick Michael Jurgens (G/C) seems to have tumbled down draft boards through the spring, he was ranked 71st overall by PFF as recently as February. Could be a steal.
There's a massive drop off from the first 6 to Rattler and no point in wasting a pick if he's only going to be squad filler hence why we made the move for Minshew.

Glad we stuck to our guns and pleased with how the draft panned out but then to be honest, I think most if not all franchises end up thinking their haul is decent, no?

Proof will be in the pudding come Week 1

Someone else i know commented that the Steelers and Ravens are the two teams he hates seeing on draft days because you are always left asking "how in the fuck did that guy fall to them?"
Two years later I'm still asking how they got Kyle Hamilton at 14 after everyone talked about him being perhaps the best player in the draft.

Yes it was stupid, yes it was way too long and yes there was literally no reason to do it...but i thought the Roast of Tom Brady on Netflix was actually pretty entertaining.

Drew Bledsoe was fantastic and i think Nikki Glazer may have been the best of the show.

For something literally no one was asking for they did a good job with it.

Will probably renew my season tickets. Always wanted to see Rodgers and couldn’t go the Packers Giants game other year

So we have a pretty decent schedule....no divisional games until week 11. Gives Caleb time to get used to the system and hopefully we pick up enough wins in the first 9 games to be ready for the divisional games and compete for top spot.

New deal for Jefferson. $140m / 4 years. Good luck to Cincinnati and Dallas negotiating with Chase and Lamb now. I don’t see how the Cowboys keep Lamb, Parsons and Prescott.

Think the Vikings did well to get a 4th year on that deal. All the recent WR extensions have been 3 years and the salary cap is likely to jump again in 2-3 years time.

God help Jerry Jones if he doesn't re sign Lamb and Parsons.

The Eagles did a great job re-signing BOTH their top receivers early, before the flurry of receiver deals setting the bar higher and higher. They did the same with Hurts a year ago. The bar only gets higher the longer you wait. Dallas as usual asleep on the job. 😄

Managed to get tickets for the Vikings game at Spurs, but fuck me Ticketmaster makes it difficult! I seem to have about 4 different accounts with them and it wouldn’t allow me to log in with any of them!

Judging by how easy it was to find 4 tickets together after queuing for an hour I wonder if others had similar issues.

Khyree Jackson - Minnesota’s 4th round pick in this year’s draft - was killed in a car accident overnight. Awful news. Just 24 years old.

Crazy, such a shame.

Haven't the Vikes oddly had several players die in car accidents in the past 20 years or so?

Not sure about that, but another cornerback we drafted in recent years - Jeff Gladney - died a year or two ago. He was already on another team after he was released by the Vikings due to a legal issue where the charges were eventually dropped. He was drafted in the same first round as Jefferson.
