This is the first year for about five years that I'm not travelling on that weekend. Instead I have an interview for a permanent lectureship the next day. Doing the draft will be a nice distraction - I'm in.

An idea for next season - how about an email draft? It could be done over several days (everyone gets say 16 hours to make a pick) and means no one auto drafts due to time differences, football clashes, etc.

I do this for another league, we use the sleeper app and do a slow draft. Only downside is the commissioner has to add into ESPN

The commissioner can allow us to pick up free agents so we can update our teams and the available players pool as we draft. Granted it means someone can pick up anyone even if they haven't drafted them but it would easy to see if someone is cheating.

Be interesting to see if Colts just steer into full on "Tank for Tua" mode or not.

Amazing to me that Brady has outlasted Manning and Manning's heir apparent and very well may be playing when the heir to Manning's heir is playing....

US Women's team captain Carli Lloyd has been approached to play a pre-season game for an NFL team.
The team has not been named, but she has been training with the Eagles & Ravens as a kicker through the summer.
She's had to turn the offer down due to scheduling conflict.
