After trawling through reams of threads looking for who to blame, what went wrong, what heads to roll and just generally copious amounts of thrashing around with a Kalshnikov and an endless supply of bullets, I thought I'd try to think 'outside of the box' for the reason, or reasons, why we find ourselves in such turmoil at the moment.
Then it struck me, I've noted that there seems to be a direct (sort of) correlation between the successes of the England team and the Spurs team.
When I say the England team, I of course mean the English Cricket team.
Anyone ever noticed that when England do well, Spurs do well? I could endeavour to back this observation up with direct score comparisons and statistical information but, to be honest, I can't be arsed and I'm really only having a giggle here anyway.
In a nutshell, I'm outting the blame squarely at the door of Andy Flower. Losing the Ashes to, let's face it, a pretty ordinary Australia, costing AVB his job, setting the club on a downward spiral and casting the fans into a pit of despair.
****.
