Capoue is probably the one I rated the highest when they left, but Chadli would be the most useful in the current squad.
He was probably the worst of them all, that's not fair Chirches was worseI'd probably go Cadli. I liked him and was pretty gutted when he left
In all honesty, these 7 players gave me so much hope then! How could half of them failed?! Still feeling bad for them because I really think they were putting in the shift initially but just couldn't take off..
I will take Chadli and Capoue back.
No I disagree, my opinion is based on that, he'd of been massively shit if it wasn't for his ability to nick a goal or two but my opinion stays the same, he was too lightweight & inconsistant for me.That's where you failed to look at his other qualities ie assists and goals.

Are you seriously using Bolt & Lampard to defend your opinion of Nacer Chadli? Wow, I’m gonna stop this chat now but must add there’s a reason he’s not here anymore and why he’s not a first teamer in a bang average teamWell I have to disagree.
It's like saying Usain Bolt would be a shit athlete (sprinter) if he wasn't quick.
Bringing it back to football tho...would Frank Lampard be a shit footballer too, if not for his goals and assists.

It's not really because football isn't just about singularities, like sprinting in a straight line as fast as you can is, it's multifaceted. Defoe scored gaols but touched the ball 4 times a game therefore meaning that other 89.5 minutes of a game he contributed nothing to the team cause, including team defending or constructing other team goals scored by other people. There's a kind of notional tipping point where a player is so productive you can balance it off against his other deficiencies, like Ronaldo, or to a lesser extent at the "Spurs" level, Alli or Son, but Chadli never got close to that tipping for his deficiencies to outweigh his careless lazy bollocks.
do you remember his cameo debut against Palace...thought that he was incredible in that game....haven't see a debut like that since Mido.....high water marks for both unfortunatelyFor the record, the only one I'd have back would be Capoue. Without the influence of the bomb squad, and if Poch could work on his mentality, and he would buckle down (all big if's) there's a damn good midfielder in there that can do a bit of everything.
He was getting the occasional nod in the French team ahead of Schniederlin (similar roles) before Poch got hold of Schneiderlin and the situation briefly reversed before they both took career nosedives and disappeared completely from the international scene.
