No no no:

The point is:

YOU SAID 'ARRY WOULD NOT BE A GOOD MANAGER.

And now you are twisting and turning to prove you were not wrong about him. Even though the results under him have been nothing short of miraculous.
My god some people are easy to please.

A few wins over teams playing with 10 men and they're completely sold. Have never had a thought of their own and posting silly crap like this.

They would probaly take a lethal dose od medication just because harry tells them. Scary!

Easy to please? I can't remember us having results as consistent as this.

How did we get them to 10 men? Because we skilled them into making rash challenges :)

Lennon didn't even start a Prem game under Ramos this season. 'Arry starts him and he gets MOTM.

I was syaing that BC does have a point, not one I actually agree on, but the difference is, is that not many managers have the same style of play, so of course its going to be different.

However Gibbs does raise a bloody good point. And one I didn't see until he posted.

The possession stat, and the chances made. Under Ramos we were often chasing a game which would give off the statistic that BC raised. Also that whilst under Redknapp, we are often in the lead, so happy to let the other team do the chasing.

I think that point in itself proves the original theory wrong.

Thats why stats are often too simplistic. There is only ONE instance on the whole of SC to use stats and they are valid:

When I have to use them to prove my point.

The only stats that i care about are those that concern the amount of POINTS on the board.

Ramos Played 8 - TWO points

Harry "isn't good enough for our club" Redknapp Played 6 - points 13.

Nuff siad.

You know, I'm still getting used to the fact that Gibbs has positive rep after so many weeks in red. Surely the biggest overturn in SC history

Redknapps Tottenham have played liverpool twice(won both) and Arsenal(before the recent slump in form) Man city(Away)

Ramos had teams more than winnable even with 11 men i.e Hull City, Sunderland, Wigan, Stoke oh yeh and i almost forgot PORTSMOUTH Harry Redknapps team by the way. And did you watch us in that game? Totally void of any fucking idea it was embarrassing to watch at times.

How on earth people can put a case forward for Ramos and yet pick at Redknapp is just fucking delusional at best.

I don't really agree with the notion that under Ramos we played pretty but ineffective football. For the most part it was ordinary, ineffective football. Aside from the CC games against Arsenal, I really struggle to find a game we played under Ramos in which we played exciting, stylish football. Maybe Man Utd at home and Arsenal away in the league. That's it. I don't particularly blame him for that since he inherited a squad that was not his own and was depressed and lacking in confidence. He did tremendously well in the Carling Cup, but we really underperformed in the league. And this season he had no excuses as he was playing with a squad over which he had a large amount of input.

If, this season, we had played exciting, vibrant football, but were losing 5-4 every game, perhaps I could hail Ramos as a manager who demanded stylish football. But we didn't play like that. We were horrible to watch. We simply passed the ball sideways in midfield and struggled to create any goalscoring chances, let alone scoring actual goals.

Boro away, we were poor and only created a chance once Berbatov came off the bench.

Sunderland at home, we were hopeless and then came to life briefly after we'd equalised.

Chelsea, we looked ok without creating anything. Our goal was lucky.

Villa, we were woeful beyond belief.

Wigan, we were shit.

Pompey, we were even worse.

Hull, we controlled the game in parts but didn't create many chances or look like scoring.

Stoke, we were calamatous.

In none of those games did we score more than one goal, and the goals we did score were mostly a collection of deflections and own goals. That run of games was perhaps the most depressing I have experienced in 16-17 years of being a Spurs fan. Because even in times when we've had rubbish players, shit coaches and have been battling relegation, we created chances and looked like we might score goals. I have never seen a side so lacking in direction and creativity as the Ramos side from the beginning of this season.

The biggest miracle is that there are so many well thought out posts over a subject that is so ridiculous. The most pointless thread ever yet people are actually making an effort.

Unbelievable!

It passes the time, doesn't it? For ages there's been no point even logging onto the board because I was busy crying sweet tears of happiness that we were finally winning games.

Ok, i won't join the "We Refuse To See Things Realistic-And Will Never Use Our Critical Eye-Cult"

So to shut you up and kill the thread...

We have played absolutely awsome the recent weeks, there has been absolutely no luck involved and defintitely isn't worth to ask any questions about our performances.

For your sake.....i really hope it continues so you won't wake up and do something stupid to yourselves.

No Gibbs, what I'm saying is thequality of football we are playing hasn't improved since Redknapp took charge.

I don't think Redknapp is great manager. And if I'm honest don't think he will be a great manager. If he proves me wrong and achieves something Jol, Ramos, Hoddle, Graham etc haven't then I'll gladly be proven wrong and say so. But what I have never said is that "I don't think Redknapp will be a good manager". Good is very easy. Great is what we need.

You don't have to behave like fucking penile colony (no coyboy, that was not a spelling mistake). If you've got something intelligent to say, I'll read it. Then I'll copy it and paste it up on ebay and auction it as a rare curiosity item.

Was that supposed to be a comeback? You contradicted yourself. You know that right?

You know I owned you with the "rarely in the lead under Ramos this season so we had to chase the game as we were losing hence your stats" type thing. And Arry's sats reflect him PROTECTING a lead and not throwing everything forward. haha.

You know I owned your face. You didn't see it, you could not look at the big picture could you? Haha. Awwwwwww.

You are sitting there, humiliated, upset and thinking crazy ways to dispute my claim. How about some more name calling?

your're ignorant

Premiership is an international league.....has been since the mid nineties...and it has been the influence from Europe and other places that has made it what it is today. Sorry to break it to you....i mean if you actually think it was because of brilliant English managers.

I've more or less left the Jenas-bit to others these last days but sometimes it's nessecerry with a comment or two when words like worldclass and Jenas comes into the same sentence.

Go back and read the actual words instead....who knows you'll actually learn something.

About Spurs - been a fan for 30 years soon.......i guess that is why i might think a critical view of recent wins over 10-men teams with poor performances from our side could be raised and also that "Bus-Conductor" had an interesting/mature view of our games recently.

But looking at things with an critical eye came out worse in here than bitchslapping a taliban in Afghanistan.

Must ask a question - gibbs...how old are you?

FFS Gibbs. What do you expect players to say. Do you want me to find you the quotes from players backing Ramos.

Did Bentley look like his game had been raised on Sunday ?

Here's a clue. No.

Bentley and Woody both came out in the press with negative Ramos comments WHILE RAMOS WAS STILL IN CHARGE.

Ramos was recently in the news saying he was shocked by how the players badmouthed him during and after he was in charge.

What now? More anger? Haha

37. Why? How old are you?

Do you admit that because Ramos was always losing: He had to chase the games therefore he had a lot of attacking stats?

Do you also admit because 'Arrys team was in front often, that we stopped throwing everything in attack and played a safer more balanced game? Hence lower attacking stats?

Do you take that on board? I am sure Ossies team had some wicked stats too but you know...Attack attack hardly ever works.

And also do you think that SKILL on the ball has something to do with us getting the op sent off? A positive. If it were Ramos Lennon wouldn't have started. He never started a single Prem game under Ramos this season.

BC's stats are a reflection of us throwing the kitchen sink at teams because we were LOSING. Not because we are playing champagne football.

Of Redknapp's six EPL (on which those figures are based) games we have been behind in 4 of them. In fact Redkanpp had nothing to do with the Bolton game so technically he's been behind in 4 out of 5.

looks like I've taken repossession of you.
