JJ i got to hand it to you, if Bale goes this Window you will go down in ITK history as a complete and utter legend. As a few have already pointed out, the quote in the OP is from It's A Wonderful Life. But what I don't think has been mentioned yet is that it comes from the closing scene of that film. The end of a wonderful life = GB nearing the exit door?

The film was based on a short story called The Greatest Gift. Could it be a hint at a record transfer fee? Or a special player involved in part-exchange?

I think the one thing that we have learnt from this window is that the well of information that the ITK used to drink from has been dried out. I obviously dont know who knows who and how far the information goes etc, but I can see the following: Capoue signed with very very little ITK information prior to him signing. Chadli the same, although to a lesser extent. Benteke and Villa didnt sign despite masses amounts of ITK on them. Soldado transfer was pretty quiet until Franco was pictured in Spain, then all hell broke loose.

Im not saying ITKs are now out of the loop. But I think that there is misinformation being put out there. JJetset himself said "truckload".

ITK's purpose has been transformed to spread MISinformation in order to distract from the real happenings . I know journalism does this on a larger scale, but now ITKs are almost as important on an internet scale.

Gonna be very interesting to see if JJs info regarding a Bale offer comes to fruition.

God I hope not.

Clinging on to the fact that every ITK only passes on what they hear. E.g. JJ categorically said "AVB is a fraud" last year. And that turned out none too shabby.
