I would expect Livermore, Ade, BAE, Gomes and Parker to leave.

If Bale stays I think we are looking at 2-3 more in. LB, CB and Midfielder.

Coentrao, Chiriches and McCarthy. Although Coentrao might be difficult if we are refusing to sell them Bale.

Would we really leave ourselves with only Defoe and Soldado for the whole season? ... if Ade goes (considering Dempsey has left) we will need one more striker in IMO

The Bale situation wont be resolved before the Espanyol game.

It will drag on and on and on until Sep 2.

RM do not take no for an answer.

It will go till Sep 2 only if either we wanted the deal to happen or Bale hands in transfer request forcing our hand to negotiations. Otherwise, I can't see such a big deal dragging especially from RM perspective.

IMO, yes, we'd do exactly that, and if there is no interest in Kane on loan from a PL team we will keep him as 3rd choice. If Kane goes on loan then I expect to see Chadli have the odd game at CF.

SSN also reshowing Harry's comments all day about Bale wanting to go, really not sure why he felt it was ok for him to join the debate. I was a Harry fan, but this is not ethical.
He thinks it's okay because he's an expert on everything, and because he thinks that everybody feels the same way about things that he does. Thus he can say with 'authority' what Bale and everybody else is thinking.

That, and because he's a mouthy **** who can't walk away from a microphone.

I know this is just work for them, but some of these reports sit really uncomfortably with his humble mummy's boy image.

No matter how nice a person you start out as initially, there must be a stage when nobody ever saying "no" to you in day to day life eventually goes to your head. It's human nature, the modern footballer is used to getting absolutely everything they want. :cautious:

My opinion but I said earlier we might need 2 CBs for the season. I'm thinking we need 2 now.
Well I thought we were fine but needed to upgrade Dawson as Caulker would be great long term but I think we all could see a huge problem with LCB if vertonghen was out and Caulker looking shit at LCB(it was worth noting he spent the whole year out of position) but now imo with Caulker gone I think we could be looking at a huge problem with Kaboul if he doesnt recover as Dawson is a great second choice but he worries me as a starter unless partnered with the right guy and I dont think Vertonghen is that man. As Dawson needs someone to get him out of trouble at times.

Most importantly we need a LCB, Im.I think Milos will be promoted as our young CB tbh and we need a pacey LCB tbh

Spin that on it's head!
The ENTIRE MEDIA has got it wrong, the Telegraph and obviously Andre's mate Jason have reported a fairly accurate version of events. It's as good as we're gonna get out of our shithead media anyway.

the interesting thing in the Bale article though is the comments we haven't offered him an improved contract. Are we playing silly buggers with this as well? Seems as though GB could argue in the absence of an improved contract the RM offer OBVIOUSLY looks good to me. I am absolutely shocked we haven't tried to sign him up to an extension.

Emergency 6 month loan for Rolando as cover.
Bring in Sakho for 13m.
If Kaboul or Dawson don't look solid by January, bring in Chiriches then.

AVB has said that we're working on a new deal with him. He said it before the shit hit the fan in HK.

"There was contact between the club and his agent last year and there is ongoing contact between the club and his agent," Villas-Boas said.
"Talks are ongoing but that doesn't mean there is an agreement."

How good can he be?

We offered Modric a year extension when all the hysteria died down when the window closed a couple of years ago.

Maybe we're looking to do the same here.

Telegraph article indicating that we have not and this article has been referred to by ITK as being closest to the truth. What I take from that is no offer has been made.
...or possibly that was a portion of what ITK was referring to as not being truthful.

I take AVB over all, so if he says we're talking with them about a new deal then we're talking with them over a new deal. This need to elevate ITK and Journo's over AVB's own words just confuses me. Burt is not gospel, he might be the most respectable journo out there right now, but he is no infallible he can report inaccuracies or be given misinformation.

No, JJ coughed that one up a lot earlier. Breezer was the first to say it was to an MLS team.

PS: There's an update to Dragon1's ITK.

Sorry Goat, you are wrong. JJ was one of first to say he was for sale. Breezer was the first on the scene to say he had been sold and where to and this was a few hours before it hit the mainstream media.
