Isco unlikely, Sissoko unlikely, Zaha unlikely, all of our bench players from last season sold more or less, what a strong position we've put ourself in.

At least it's not as though we've seen players joining lesser clubs ALL SUMMER, for reasonable prices, who are better than the likes of Sissoko and Zaha, who ANYONE could see would improve our squad...

Ok time to calm down, we MIGHT get a keeper to back up our back up keeper, we have learned our lessons after all. God I love deadline day!

Just remember. If Isco fails. You still got me. my missus says I am great in the box. But terrible at loading the dishwasher.

Expecting 3 in, GKN, Pau and ?

Seems to be Sissoko or Isco going by ITK.

Would love something completely left field though, granted it's not disappointing

A&C is my favourite part of deadline day.

Hard to dispute the "we've been here before" comment.

After last night various ITK updates, I thought the mood will be upbeat here.
But I guess its better to keep any hope or expectation down and not get disappointed.
Scarred by too many last day letdowns to be upbeat !

One Jam doughnut, cup of coffee. Sorted. GKN and Pau to come, maybe Tom to Derby. I can take it.

:ROFLMAO:

Who am I kidding?!

I guess GKN and Lopes will be announced pretty early today. The past gives me the feeling we will try for one or two more but won't happen as we will try to bargain.

The thing about someone like Isco is that signing him would make managers like Wenger, Guardiola and Mourinho take notice. He's that special a player when he gets a run of games that I think he could add somewhere between 8-10 points to our point total. Signing him is the difference, in my opinion, between finishing 3rd/4th (possibly even 1st with perfect squad health) and finishing 5th/6th.

I like Sissoko more than most here, so landing him and Isco would be a stunning conclusion to the window. Of course, I anticipate we won't sign either, and we'll likely have to rely on players like Eriksen, Alli, and Lamela playing every single PL and CL game, which will eventually render them exhausted.

Did A&C just post and then deleted his post? I was in the midst of repping the post.

Does anybody else find it odd that for a few days consecutively now, A&C hasn't been behaving normally?

The Star Wars n something else recap, the blue dahlia that is still unsolved, and the persistent persistent reminders that one will cross the line one day, but not this time

Not sure if this has been posted or if it is even ITK but
Regarding Coric from COYS

FredNor, on 30 Aug 2016 - 10:38 AM, said:
Summary of what i know, my info comes from brother in law who works in Zagreb and has a few contacts with journos down there, he had some good intel on the Rog deal to Napoli.

50/50 if he goes or stays, according to him; us and another team want him as a part of our squad this season.

DZ wants to sell as they're funding their new stadium and they've always relied on bringing youngster up early.
DZ also is looking at Nejmana Maksimovic as a replacement if Coric goes.

Mamic really wants to sell.

I'm sceptical to some of the info as some of the stuff he gave me yesterday was all ready posted on Sportske Novosti
.

Then

Gone awfully quiet now. Same thing that happened the day before Rog and Pjaca left.
Dinamo also brought back 2 from Lokomotiva and one from RNK Split today, 1 AMC, 1 Striker and 1 defender.
Not sure what to make of this, won't be able to talk to my brother in law before tomorrow noon. So i'll report back as soon as i've talked to him

Then

All up to the player, he still thinks it's a good sign for Spurs that it was so quiet yesterday regarding this one.
Personally a bit skeptic.

Been here too many times...not to be a doom-monger but the underlying message seems to be that Isco doesn't want to come. I think we will end up paying over the odds for Sissoko.

IMO, Isco has more chance of happenning than Coric. Coric has too many suitors.

The only thing that is somewhat concerning is that if you look at the amount of money we have brought in via sales (roughly 40 million pounds) and the amount we've spent on Janssen and Wanyama (roughly 30 million pounds), you'll see we have just enough of a surplus to pay the rumored 9 million pound fee for Nkoudou and the loan fee for Lopez. That would have us perfectly balanced on the balance sheet (probably slightly in a profit with Bentaleb/Fazio/Njie loan deal fees), which is something that has pretty much been a staple of Levy's wheeling and dealing this entire decade.

I wonder if ValenciaYid still gets the inside track on the Spanish transfers.

The fact JJ didn't pooh pooh it is a big deal I think.

You need to calm down. The fact is you have little or no information about the squad and our plans. You are making conclusions based on nothing. This time last year we were the worst team in the world we hadn't addressed any of our weaknesses and were just a bunch of mugs. We were going to play a kid in center midfield and a center back out of position.

Poch knows what he is doing. COYS.
