Didn't Roger Morgan say we had sent in a bid for Remy. But their president said we didn't and now's gone to l'OM. Fax machine issue I'd imagine.
I do think Huntelaar is a considerably worse player than both Keane and Pav.
None of our forwards actually have much pace (even Defoe doesn't after the first 2 yards), but Huntelaar makes Sheringham look nippy (even at 44).
Our striking balance is so bad - we have no hold up play (Crouch may win balls but doesn't hold on to them), limited link up play, no genuine pace and no-one really prolific. We just have a batch of striking mediocrity and Huntelaar wont improve on that.
It's more the lack of faith in Jenas tbh. He's a vastly experienced Premier League player who Harry would like in the squad. Sandro is a young prospect who will need time to adapt and develop further.What does it say about Harrys faith in Sandro that he has spent half the summer trying to buy Scott bleedin Parker?
