Yup....only reason i heard of him was i watched the Argentina/Slovenia WC warm up and wondered who the hell he was.....seems he one of those players who is a bit under the radar but people think has bags of talent.
Mammana was capped by Sabella for the national team and hasn't picked up a cap for River Plate as of yet.
But....he is a CB who may be able to play CDM so i don't know that he will fit the young Argie we are looking at...
Driussi seemed to be the one that made the most sense.
There's a U20 argentinian attacking midfielder that we are going after but its secret. No one being able to guess the name, not even the FM addicts. That points to me that it is someone no one has heard about, so why is it secret? If he was a phenom, everyone would know of him and keeping it secret to not get it hijacked would make sense. So im thinking its gonna be someone no one has heard of and its secret because they dont want fan backlash hurting the move.

Let's face it, whoever the Argie kid is, if he ever makes if into our team, he'll probably just get a load of stick after a handful of games.
Currently the only foreign kid we've ever signed at 16-19 to ever really make it into our team is Bentelab - and look at the dog's abuse he got last year.

By the sounds of it its a development player who I doubt has played 1st team football or he wouldn't give it the "even the FM addicts"

If he's 19 and hasn't already played for the first team of a club in Argentina, he's not going to be good enough for Europe
I have no idea of Football Manager though. I don't know how detailed the game is with the league in Argentina.

We are probably trying to get a work permit for him, and South American players struggle to get them unless it can be shown that it's likely he will be an international player in time

It could be. But if he's already at an European team, and he didn't play for a team in Argentina, then I'm almost sure he has a european passport, for which he wouldn't need a work permit.
