Sorry but the ICC really need to review the punishment for the fielding team running down the wicket.
The whole world knows what India are doing yet it’s only deemed as a five run penalty, it should be 50, there’s no excuse for it, it’s just blatant cheating!

Finn didn't think Ashwin was doing it on purpose, either he's being incredibly naive or overly diplomatic because he knows what he's doing.

I’m a fully subscribed member of the Ben Foakes fan club so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone to hear me saying this but I genuinely believe Foakes’ wicket keeping alone should get him in this England team over Bairstow, even when playing in England. He’s outrageously good; the best in the world by a clear margin, and he wins test matches with his catches. Easy to say this now but had Foakes played in the Ashes just gone, England win that series.

That’s massively unlucky for Pope. Root needs an innings here…
I was convinced that was going over leg stump!! Gutted, he was going along nicely. Root's last 7 scores have been 5/16/29/2/60/28/13, really does need to get something in the bank (only the first four of those are in tests, and are in this series).

Yep! Been a couple of very questionable DRS calls this series. Hit him above the knee roll and still managed to clip the top of leg stump…very iffy.

England taking just 1 and a bit sessions to knock off just under half of India’s lead which took them 5 sessions to build, is absolutely absurd. The final session of the day, too.

I really, really hope the middle order builds on what the top order has started. This England team is so good.

What I would say is Pope is quite short, meaning he may well wear 'Small Mens' pads, meaning his knee roll is lower than say Crawley's who I should think (like I did at 6'3), wears 'large mens' pads.

What I would say is sometimes the decisions by DRS are absolute bollox

You can only laugh at some of them, as do the players

A friend of mine worked for the company that created/implemented Hawkeye (Channel 4 days). It malfunctioned on review so they 'found' one that looked similar enough and it was given out. Scandalous.

I have no doubt that reviews are still being 'found', particularly when the BCCI are involved...

ever really understood not picking the best keeper. such a key position. and it's not like he can't bat either.

think Jonny could he struggling when Brook is available.

Tuffers is quite right Root really isn't a 'Bazball' player, just needs to play his own game and stop these stupid shots he's playing.

it's the line between being aggressive and being reckless. we all love it when it comes off, but perhaps when you're 200 behind a notoriously difficult place to bat 4th might be a time to play the situation a bit better, especially when, in Roots case, he's short on runs.

I'm more disappointed in Bairstow who just seems devoid of technique and ideas at the moment.

plus we're letting possibly the worst international captain I've ever seen in Rohit, off far too lightly.

Saw this coming a mile off. Pathetic from the middle order.

Root is a serious issue in the side at the moment. He’s not doing it under Stokes.
