Should be 16 overs left in the day but they only play until 7pm (I think!) so will be less...
Sir Beefy given a Peerage to go with his knighthood.
Not sure what that's all about.
Raining in Manchester.
Does the Pope defecate in the woods?
Why do we persist with Butler? he’s an average wicket keeper and a fucking awful test batsman!Well that plan didn’t work too well! Shame would have been fun if it came off

We've got to set them a target they think they might reach. Too high and why would they bother?
Could be a great finish.
90 overs tomorrow?
They are 1-0 up. They don’t need to win the game. It’s all about us trying to leave ourselves enough overs to bowl them out
At the very very best (with Stokes going nuts) I reckon we get 84 overs at them without it being a silly declaration and that is very optimistic
270 to win in 84 overs
A target of 300 in 70/75 overs is more realistic
Is it only 90? Or will they still add a few overs on to make up for yesterday? I don't know the rules on that!
Just heard it’s 98 overs. Lose 2 for change of innings...
So 96 overs. Bat for 9 - 275 lead with 87 left. 7 overs with a 2nd new ball...
275 at just over 3 an over? Root won't risk that. Will he? Hanse Cronje would, but Root ... ?
In an ideal world he’d love a chance to bowl them out with 2 new balls. In reality that might not be possible without, as you say, a 'very generous' declaration!!!
They’ll have to play it by ear and see where we are. If Stokes gets into beast mode and the Windies radar is a little off, who knows...
9 overs @10 - 90 = 310 target of 87 overs = 3.5 per over!?!?
Chasing 310 on the final day, even with Dom Bess bowling, good luck to them...
He's got no choice, anything else and he'll be accused of lying down and rolling over by gifting them the series as well as being an over cautious and pretty much useless captain.I hope it's going to be adventure over pragmatism. We shall see!
