FFS Plunkett shut up ! Talk is cheap,how many times have we heard English cricketers talk the talk and fail to walk the walk and then look like idiots when we lose. Stop this we are favourites nonsense, it will only encourage the Aussies more, and they don't need any encouragement to be any more fired up against us than they always are against us. Do the talking by coming out with a top performance on the pitch, not before the game !

That may very well be the case, but time and time again, we do ourselves no favours by saying stuff like this, and BEFORE this game, Plunkett is saying "we're back to where we want to be", or "we know when we play good cricket we can beat anyone in the world", or " it will be a tough game, but we feel like we are favourites".

I'd much rather they all shut the f*ck up and got down to the real business of doing the talking with the bat and the ball during the game itself. Sh*t like this will just fire up the Aussies even more than they are already fired up against us, and if we end up losing, then Plunkett's comments like this will be yet more examples of being made to look stupid if it all goes t*ts up.
