the Jason Sudeikis character who played Spurs coach in some NBC promotions a few years ago has been resurrected as a series on Apple TV. He coaches a fictitious team in the UK.

Looking forward to it.... But going to be difficult to make it as funny. Big difference between 4 minutes and 10 x 30 minutes....

Just finished the first 3 episodes, and I have to say it exceeds my expectations. The commercials made him out to be a buffoon, but the show makes him into more of a good natured "motivator" with the notion that if you can motivate, you can do it in American football or English football.

You will only be disappointed if you're looking for any footballing accuracy. They've really, really streamlined the operations of a "premier league football team" to an Owner, DOF, Manager, Assistant and Kit man. The most accurate parts thus far are that a young loanee from Man City is a prick, and a loss to Crystal Palace is really embarrassing.

I guess Im gonna have to buy an Apple TV subscription.

My suggestion, wait for all the episodes to come out, get the free trial, and binge it. There isn't a lot on Apple TV+ to justify the cost. (I got it for free for a year with my iPhone)
